I would like to apologize to my fellow madjackers who rode my tail on this game. I know I harped and harped and harped how Miami is good in fact better....some things just werent meant to be....and when will Miami beat Marshall..who knows.

No need to apologize...You had good write ups on the game and if it wasn't for some questionable interference calls at the end of the game it would have been a winner...Y ou have good insight in the MAC and have given alot of valuable info...SO keep up the good work because I am just coat tailing this weekend and am going to ride your Texas play and your MAC plays...I couldn't pick a winner if my life depended on it...

hellah as much as you contribute to this board there is no need to apologize. It was the right call, IMO. Tough loss to take w/ the 2 pass interference calls but it happens. I also think Miami was way to conservative on their last drive. Just keep doing what your doing and thanks again for all you add to this forum.

hellah- No need to apologize as I did bet on Marshall but started thinking about getting MU bowl tickets in the last 4 minutes. It is another example of Miami's "Media Curse". Everytime that Miami gets media exposure regardless of the sport the team loses the next game. Last year Sports Illustrated did a small article on "Big Ben" after leading the 'Hawks to 7 straight wins... only to have them lose the last three games. The 'Hawks have been to 5 straight MAC Championship games in basketball, all on ESPN, all losses. The best example was a bit on Sportscenter before the '99 MAC Championship. They did possibly the worst piece ever with Wally Sczerbiak only to have him sprain his ankle in the first five minutes and once again lose a big game. You were on the right side and have been doing great with MAC football. Keep up the good work! Just watch to fade Miami when they start hyping "Big Ben" even more next year in football and also if Miami goes to a 7th straight MAC Chamionship game this March...
