Well to coaches or anyone I would like to hear your philosophy. Giants game to they have 2nd and 3rd one out with a 5-4 score. Dodgers idiot decides to bring the infield in. Ok was watching the game with my buddy and as a coach I told him know way in hell do you bring your infield in that situation. I think you have two choices play the middle infield back and concede the run and play for extra innings. Or intentionally walk the batter to load the bases and you win the game with a double play ball. The only way I would pull my infield in is if a runner was on third with one out. I must say as a coach I had to make this decision three times in five years. We were playing the #1 ranked team in the section they had runners at 2nd and 3rd 1 out. I chose not to intentionally walk to hitter nor play the infield in. The batter hit a line drive that my infielder snared and threw to third to double the runner up. Looked for sure like a game ender of the bat. Now had we played the infield in we lose the game. I could care less if they tied the game and we got the 2nd out. In that situation we were three out of three the other two times we won in extra innings. What would you guys do in that situation. Any coaches I would love to here what u do in that situation and how it fared for you
