Nope. Too old now.

But I probably should have when I was younger. New Zealand, Australia, Canada, France. While there are some nutjobs in those countries, there are not as many as here.

You don't think the USA is fucked up? Just take a look at the dozen or so choices we have for the next President. Losers, all of them. Decent and competent people won't run because the election process is nothing but a shit-slinging contest where the candidates take billions from special interests, and talk about gay marriage and the Confederate flag, but never about the real problems.

The Confederate Flag and gay marriage are distractions

Of course they are.

Do you expect a candidate to tell the truth?

"First off, I'm going to line the Kock Bros pockets, then I'm going to start a pretend war to make the weapons mfrs and one-stars happy. Next I'm going to eliminate the minimum wage, abolish Obamacare, gut Medicare, and piss away the Social Security fund. In other words, I'm going to do for the country what Sam Brownshirt has done for Kansas."

Hoosier country
Already did, but I would not be averse to moving back. It would depend on both the location and the university that I'd be working at.

At this point in time, with their turn towards neoliberalism and the corporatization of the university, I would certainly discount Wisconsin and North Carolina. There are others that I wouldn't even consider for a myriad of reasons.

I do enjoy my visits, though.

Peace! :)

Maybe once I reach social security age. That combined with my modest business pension I could probably live decently in some countries. Then again, I HATE humidity.

Given their economic problems, retirement in $US would probably let you live like a king in Greece. The climate away from the ocean is good, the people civilized.

And, if you're single, many of the women are beautiful....as are the men, if you're so inclined. LOL!
