it would be that way here in the states also, if it wasn't for the taxing idiots in the democratic party.

When you think about taxing lottery winnings....that is about the most unfair rate of tax out there....The government take from the lottery pool is already...what 30-40%...then they tax the guy who wins another 30% ????Outrageous...

oz, unfortuneatly for all of us here in the states, their is so much pork and social programs that need to be financed by tax dollars that they have to find money everywhere. That's what happens when one party has it's policies based on socialism. It's sad that that's the only way democrats can keep their power.

Give or redistribute the wealth of this country:mad: :nono:

Yeah, ctown we have the welfare system for ranchers, farmers, agribusiness, mining and lumber companies getting freebies on government land and then of course the hugest social welfare system on the planet, the miltary-industrial complex. My friend and I have always like to call that last one welfare for the middle class.

And yet our government can't seem to find a way to enforce deadbeat dads paying their child support. Seems we should be able to help a single underpaid hard-working working moms out there whose deadbeat husbands have abandoned them and their kids.

There is no society that is NOT socialist to some degree. I believe some socialism is necessary to a stable healthy society.

ocelot, you missed the biggest welfare sytem of them all, all the nonessiential jobs created in wash dc by all these very gov programs we are talking about. The gov't payroll or at least 80 per cent of it is nothing but another type of welfare, just giving jobs to move paper around or help politicains make money from our tax dollars.

I think we need the military complex so your butt wouldn't be speaking german or japanese, oh that's right you think like bj billie, that we all will just get along, no need for weapons:eek:
