It will be an interesting ALCS for sure!!
I like KC's starting pitching over the Orioles just a bit with Shields and Vargas, over, Tillman and Chen, those are top 2 starters for each team, bullpens are about even, power numbers about the same, speed edge, big big edge to KC! Managerial is a no brainer! BUCK!!

there is no way that vargas is KC #2 starter. shields-ventura then vargas/duffy.
vargas only started game 1 because that is how their rotation broke down after the end of season and play in game.
This. However, Yost values/overvalues Vargas so I fear he may go with him earlier than you would expect.
I guess Vargas looked like a bad starter @ LAA in game 2?
Duffy is usually in there, but he's been on an innings watch, he's had 2 TJ surgeries, they don't want to put that much pressure on Ventura. My guess is that Ventura will get a game 1 or 2 start vs Baltimore however.
