Could it get any worse for Iowa backers.... a TD on 4th & 1 from that far out. Really bad beat. Guess I did have a great beat on Baylor last night, but this really fucking hurts:mad: :cuss: :chairshot :banghead: :soapbox:

2nd half total blew up as well with that bs. Why is iowa calling to's anyway w 2 minutes left down 10. Just let them run it out. Don't risk injury. Its a fukin bowl game. They aren't playing ohio st or illinois or some other rival. That was just brutal.

Was on the Baylor miracle last night so guess they even out... oh fuck! Going to get even more drunk now. So pissed. Would have been up 2 dimes on the day instead up .25 dimes. Guess it could be worse. Did get the nice cover with Wake Forest I didn't deserve as well.... fuck that hurt.

Every single bowl game seems to be a back door cover late in the 4th and I've been on the losing side of all of them. :sadwave:

I need Northwestern to dig me out of this hole. Bowl game of the year for me.

Beats like this really make me wonder if I want to keep doing this shit. These fuking types of losses lead to losing 5 in a row, 9 of 10 and I don't want to hear how it all evens out

Toledo can't stop af on 1 drive, with 3 4th downs involved
Wash can't cover a 10 point spread when up 20 something and allows a last second 40 yard td run
And now this.....when the fucking tinkerbell is diving to the ground on 1+2 down and then can't stay on his feet on 3rd down the pick up the 1st and end the game, he's got to power thru for a 24 yard td run to cover on 4th down??

Party of me expected it when iowa went 4 and out in 25 seconds, part of me said naw, this shit can't happen again, then I felt good watching ou dive into the line for 2 plays, then I was left to beg for 1.....ONE fucking iowa defender to get in front of the ou player on 4th so they would fall to the ground.

This loss is probably a 4k swing (win 2 or so vs lose 2k or so) the other two weren't as bad financially but still.........if I had af-bay-ou I KNOW I'd be sitting here at 0-3 with no eventful endings like what I've seen.

The worst part, I'm starting to think I'm as bad as brandon lang!

Wow. I turned this crappy game off at 21-14 with no more than 2 or 3 minutes on the clock. Talk about a stunning loss. $ Those who were on both baylor and OU should buy lottery tickets today.

I had Washington and Iowa. Real kick to the nuts was having Iowa to close out a 4-team parlay.

The Washington one was rough but I can't complain all that much. Baylor had already put up 60 points and had already shown a penchant for busting the big run. Busting through for another one was not a big surprise. Plus Washington still had over 2 minutes left to come down and make things right - till a lineman decided that he wanted to try and be a hero.

Iowa was a different story. Not since the Jacksonville hail mary last year have I literally lost a game on the last play (maybe OU would have had to have kneeled one time). Like gjn I was thinking "this could happen" and "there's no way this actually happens" at the same time. It's like playing Hold 'Em and having 3 aces against 3 kings on the river - you know that 4th king is out there but you don't really think it's going to come until it does.

But all you can do is try to just clear it out of your head and move on. Yesterday was still a good day for me so I need to concentrate on that and forget about how it could have been a great one.

I feel your pain, I had both dogs(Wash, Iowa) also. And even though the final scores do not reflect it, I feel like we were on the right side! Not crying one bit because as we all know shit happens and sometimes it stinks and sometimes you can tolerate the smell. I am just glad that I had bet Flordia State or I might be typing this post with the lap top while hanging in the closet! :mj07:

Hang in there guys, the good games are right around the corner. I got the Sauerkraut ready and hopefully the only thing that will stink will be my ass!!!

HELL
I had Wash pretty big for me, went round and round to take Baylor at half -7 for a great middle, let it go as I said up 11 plus 10 for game SHOULD be a winner as they will score too, cringed at watching that BS, and the thing that got me was Baylor down 42-31 had to go for 2 midway through the third quareter to make it 42-39??

Anywhooo, I had OK for a 1/4 of Wash play, went to bed after seeing 21-14 with minutes remaining, wake up and have a winner, albeit small I will take it.

My point in all of this, I am starting to think I am not going to watch this shit anymore and just check scores later to see how I did. Might be better off.

I could hardly keep my eyes open for the end of that game last night. To watch that QB break that 4th down run and cost me a 4-teamer was sickening!

Gotta watch the games though.

Good luck today!
