Turned things around nicely. Glad we still have 86% of the regular season left.
Haven't been posting during my recovery,
but I believe that superstition is bad luck so here we go...
(deconstruct THAT mother for a laugh)

PLAYS

Brewers -119 0.6/0.5
mets -127 1.27/1
A's -115 0.57/0.5

2-teamer
--Reds ml
--M's ml
+179
0.56/1

--Brewers, like last year, are mashing lefties. Should be more fun than facing Hamels.
--Hill needs to find form and could be on a short leash. With the stuff that Perez has, he remains a bargain.
--Liriano seems to have lost his '06 form--after surgery--and hasn't had good control. Bill Welke umping might help Liriano's BB's but will give the same benefit to Smith, acquired in the Haren deal w/D'Backs. Smith has looked pretty solid. A's hit lefties well last year, though aren't so far in '08--STILL doing much better than the Twinkies vs lefties so far. Should play under if Liriano brings anything.
--Cueto is too pricey. What am I thinking?
--M's destroyed lefties at home last year and Loewen doesn't look like a former 1st-rounder.

Also hoping for a total of 10 at Fenway. Saunders has done good work vs the Bosox and Masterson might raise some eyebrows. Would try the home squad at -135ish.

If they keep the ump rotation at KC, despite the rainout, then Nelson will be doing game #2 which helps any under plays. Was at an 8.5 before they took it down so should remain so. Batters might be kind of weary by game #2, as well. 'Course, we could say the same thing about the defenses. Looks worthwhile as Lee is overachieving early.

Look ma!...no Jays plays!

Yo man, what your thoughts on the Padres and Young. Only thing is the Padres lack of run support. Plus the junky bull-pen.
