WTF are teams doing?

You would think these teams would know wtf they are doing. Pirates have a man on first with 1 out and McCutchen to the plate with a 2 - 0 count. They are facing Nicasio who has struggled all year long. Ahead in the count with your 3 hitter and you give the fucking steal sign? :shrug: Well it just occurred to me that maybe it could of been a hit and run but on a 2 - 0 count if it's a bad pitch then you put your hitter in a bind..

Regardless Presley gets nailed stealing 2nd and then of course your 3 hitter doubles on the very next pitch. I just don't get why some of these managers just don't let the players play it out. Wrong time and situation for that shit.
