A mall shooting spree and now some sick fuck goes to an elementary school in Connecticut and there are reports that as many as 27 people including children are dead.

Edit: CBS News reporting that 27 are dead and 14 are children. FOX News reports that an entire classroom is unaccounted for. MSNBC says 20 children were shot. Another news report says the gunman was a parent of one of the students.

Of course the fucking gunman is dead, more than likely by a self-inflicted gun wound.

Just sick to my stomach right now. I really hope that the news people are jumping the gun on these reports. If they are true this is just incredibly sad.

My heart is very heavy right now. I am just sick and can't begin to imagine the families affected by this senseless shooting. I just want to hit something right now.

My niece goes to an elementary school 10 miles away.

My sister has been told early reports are 18 children deceased.

Fucking cowards. The pit of anger inside me is indescribable. Who the fuck kills innocent kids.

too soon? hardly think its too soon for the gun fanatics to realize what an actual issue guns are. how many more shootings need to happen before something is done?

every week something like this happens and they brush it off with "should arm more people". sick.

I think the biggest problem is that every time one of these fuckups does this...it emboldens other people with a screw loose to do something like this.

they just reported that one of the gunmans parents was shot dead at their home this morning in NJ before the shooting

Sad nd the chicken shit went in there with many weapons and an armor bullet proof vest on--the kids they had nothing-I am pissed. Having been both a middle school and elem school principal-it makes me sick. I bet parents all over america are calling their schools and pulling kids out-- a mess. Been on many lock downs and not nice.

Ryan Lanza is the kid apparently from what they just said....has a profile on Facebook that looks to still be up

parent was killed this morning at house in Hoboken,NJ

and his mother worked at the school

now they are saying the report of the parent shot at home is not correct?

Let me start by saying that i have two small boys and coulndnt even imagine what it would be like if they were in that school today. Secondly, I hate guns, I don't own any, and never will. I don't hunt, except with a bow and arrow. People who hunt with a gun and claim it is a sport are crazy. If you kill a deer, bird, whatever animal you choose from a hundred yards away, there is no sport in that. Shooting targets, clay pigeons.. from a hundred yards is sport. Thirdly, no matter if a law is passed to ban guns and remove them from all households, they will still be available for anyone at anytime for purchase. Lastly, if i get any responses like "if you eat meat, you should thank hunter!" I respond with, "i eat meat, so ill thank a farmer."
