It's funny how this politcal correctness works. Every night here in So Cal I listen to the Union leaders (thugs) and their sheep on the picket lines talk about scabs, you know the people that need a job and are willing to work for it.

Now the term scabs is perfectly all right to use in the national and local media, why, because it's the left that neede to disparage the people that want to work for a "real fair" wage not the bloated extorted wage the unions get.

Political correctness is the liberals answer to free speech, their way.

Compared to 20 years ago in real wage earning power, a grocery clerk has lost out so it isn't "bloated" to the degree you think it has. Furthermore, on average it takes about twice as many of these honorless scabs to perform the task we did beforehand. Didn't have to take a drug test like we did. Hopefully that person handling your food doesn't have hepatitis or the like. :nono: I've worked my ass off for 18 years and i'll be damned if I am going to feel any pity for a scab or someone who crosses a line to shop who is made to feel uncomfortable. If you want a Walmart type world go right on ahead into the store and have a great Turkey Day. This little sheep thanks you.:rant2:

A grocery clerk lost out making $17 an hour with all medical paid and you want more. yea go out on strike and extort even more. That type of work is grossly overpaid now and we the public just pay more and more for food so a grocery clerk can make more than a college educated teacher. Oh I guess only union workers know how to clean their hands when they work.

Yea your a union sheep all right and yes I go to Von's and Ralphs at least twice a week to shop and laugh at the sheep standing there holding a stupid sign wanting us not to shop to help their cause.

Are you going to help pay our higher food bills to help our cause

Ouch, Ctownguy, I agree in principal with what you say there as you are basically right, but I know I could not work where I do with out the union. Not so much because they keep our wages high, but they get me a contract that describe my work responsibilities and that is what is important, I can't trust management to do the right thing without 3rd party representation. Now if we walk out over money issues then let the people willing to work while we iron things out, but if it's over working conditions and the like then thats a different story.

Why worry about how much the clerk makes? In most cases it is the untalented upper execs who make the big money and get the bonuses and set the policies that ruin good things. And political correctness works both ways. It isn't just a liberal thing. When things go good those half witted execs take huge bonuses and tell each other how great they are. But when things go bad it is the economy. Hahahaha what a bunch of a$$ clowns! If anything destroys this country it won't be the unions, or the terrorists, or the liberals, or even Fox News, it will be those greedy ba$tards at the top.

Well one thing we agree with is that teachers are very underpaid for what they do and too much money in that industry goes to administration and the like. However, if we get busted then their chances of keeping even what they have gets weakened that is why the overall support we are getting is great and better then what those assholes like Steven Burd thought. My brother is a teacher and he hasn't crossed because he understands. As for your higher food bills, if you think they won't raise the prices even if we lose you are pretty foolish. Have a great day! Baaaahhhhh!

It seems funny all these Teachers are underpaid. Over 70% of them in this country are now in unions. Woops were not to say it that way. Associations there in. But they still can strike. Maybe they need better negotiators. I always get a kickout of one group piss-en and monen about the other. Teachers know going in whats up with salaries. They also know with holidays and the summer off they work about 9.5 months a year. Hey 10 weeks off each year has to be worth something. After 30 years on the job I was upto 5 weeks vacation. But i new that going in. And I new my salary was going to be better then Teachers. But I had to start with 8 paid holidays and one weeks vacation. Then after three years I got two weeks vacation. Took to ten years to get three weeks. But I went for the money. If I wanted 10/11 weeks off each year I would have been a Teacher for less pay.
