OK.....I have been thinking about this game for awhile now, and I think I have a good plan. Air Force has only reached 60 points against really bad teams (Belmont Stetson, etc.) and teams that really like to speed up the pace (UNLV) They reached that 60 point plateau against Colorado State as well, but that was with mirrors, as both teams shot WELL over 50%...but I think that Air Force still only shot the ball like 33 times in that one. Wyoming is a struggling team...but is a much more talented team than Air Force is accustomed to playing. The chances of them reaching 60 points is not likely. Which means that if Air Force is going to win this game and cover the spread (which they will probably win outright if they cover the spread, obviously) they are going to do it by holding Wyoming under 60 points as well.

Here is my theory....

I am taking Wyoming and the under 121. If my thoughts are correct...we HAVE to win one or the other. This is assuming that Air Force is not going to score 60 points. Which is how I capped the game....so that is what I have to go with. Hopefully we can win both sides....but I look at this as a no-lose bet. Hopefully it works out.


For those of you that like Air Force in this one...and cannot be swayed....I, personally would play the parlay of Air Force and the under. Like I say....it will be Air Force's slow style and defense that is their only chance to win this one.

Airforce and the under

Airforce is 8-1 at home aare on a six game home winning streak. Falcons have a very tite D, dont look for any run and gun if they want to stay in this.. check out the #'s.

Scoring Defense -- 56.0 -- 1st
Turnovers per game -- 11.3 -- 5th
Three-pointers made per game -- 8.6 -- 16th

Wyoming is on the down w/o Marcus Bailey. Yes the beat New Mexico in there last game but they needed a carreer high from Donta Richardson [39 points against UNM, going 12-for-20 from the field, including 7-for-10 from three-point range] Unless Wyoming plays a perfect game like they did in there last game... airforce wins this one

As long as Utah can pull the game out in overtime, I'm pulling for Wyoming+6.5 in a teaser. Think the game will be close though. I had Wyoming winning by 4.
