Yankees/Angels Wed Props

I am considering taking the following props, let me know what you guys think:

Jeter 1st at bat: On base +130

Giambi extra base hit: Yes +130


Hopefully at least get the split. I would appreciate any feedback.

Saint -- IMHO I don't like these props. Sorry.

What is Jeter's on-base percentage? Let's say it's .500, then on base prop should be +200 not +130.

How often does Giambi get an extra base hit? Assuming he only averages one hit per game, his frequency of extra base hits are at most 50% of that. So again Yes should be more like +200.

Plus Giambi is DH tonite and he hits better when he plays on D.

Thanks for the feedback. I was initially thinking that because Jeter usually raises the level of his play in the postseason he would have a good shot at getting on base. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that although that might be a true statement, that doesn't mean that in 1 specific inning his chances are better. You are correct, the odds should be higher.

As far as Giambi, I was looking at it in terms of the increase in his slugging % and batting average when DH. I can see him taking one deep tonight.

Personally I'm going with Run scored in first inning YES. This has hit in 4 of 5 games so far.
