Brian McCann, a stellar lefty hitting catching with nagging injuries the past few years and native of Georgia leaves the Braves for the City Life in New Yawk? WOWZERS!! What do the Yankees really think they are getting here? McCann was stellar early in his career throwing out runners and hitting key knocks in the middle of the lineup, but now he goes to the DH friendly AL where he'll probably be a DH, but he will start behind the dish. He's a leader and has very good credentials but a 5 year big contract for a catcher with an injury history? COME ON MAN!!

Brian Cashman if anyone has watched his acquisitions the past 5 years, since George passed on, is totally clueless and he needs to go!!! No balls to get rid of A ROD? and now he continues to let the free-agent market dictate stupid contracts that he's orchestrated himself and bought into and he'll probably lose Robby Cano and I would hope Cano sees the writing on the wall and goes to a club like the Dodgers or Giants or Angels and play 2b and take a 3-4 year contract for lucrative bucks, because he's only probably got 3-4 more productive years and in the Yankees lineup, he had no one protecting him, whereas in those 3 teams I mentioned he would have someone in front of him or behind him that pitchers would have to throw to.

Yankees are a gas can ready to explode in the back of an SUV in the middle of Summer in Texas!!

Later!!

Yankees sign 2b, Brian Roberts, who had some injury woes past few years, that gives Yankees Kelly Johnson and Roberts to fill the void left by Cano. So where is the power going to come from for the Yankees? McCann? Come on!!

Yankees have signed no pitching just yet, but made strong offers to Ubaldo Jiminez and are talking to a few other journeyman starters, but the crop is thin folks!!
