There certainly is a lot of pressure on Giambi to perform here give the size of his paycheck and the fact that he replaced a very popular player in Tino.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him struggle for a while under this pressure.

That's why I liked that prop play; if both players take the collar than Vaughn wins.

Man! The Yankee fans are brutal, the boo birds were out in full force today and all over him. I feel bad for the guy.

Tino was very very popular at first base. But when he came to the Yanks he struggled at first too, went oh for the first two weeks or something.

The pressure to play in the Bronx is incredible but even worse if you come in under such high expectations.

Giambi will break out of it but it might be a week or two before he does.
