YANKEES/RED SOX Under 8 +100 - I was unfortunate to get a Push on the Under in this matchup last night, as the Red Sox scored a cheap run in the 9th inning, but I am coming back with it today. The Under is now 7-3-1 in the last 11 meetings between these heated rivals at Fenway Park. Pedro has been Pedro this year, with a 2.83 ERA and an outstanding 1.03 ratio in 60.1 innings. Incredibly, he has allowed 2 runs or less in 7 of his 9 starts. While the Yankees have given him problems in the past, he does have 8 Quality Starts in his last 10 starts vs. the Bronx Bombers. The last time he faced them here at home, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits with 9 strikeouts in 7.1 innings last July. The key to this Under however may be the performance of Weaver. He has yet to display the excellent form he had in Detroit since coming to New York, but he does now have 4 Quality Starts in his last 6 starts. He allowed only 2 earned runs in 6.2 innings vs. hot-hitting Anaheim in his last start, so he may be finally coming to hand. He hasn?t pitched at Fenway since the 2001 season, when he limited the Bosox to 2 earned runs on 5 hits in 6 innings as a member of the Tigers.
