Game #5 folks---------can you feel the excitement!!!!! What a great series!!! I been pondering this game all night and all day today------I looked at the stats---but i really do not care what happened the last time Mussina took the mound!!!!!! this game has all the makings for another low-scoring affair!!!!I believe The Diamondbacks are a little distraught after losing last night!! Mark Grace said" What a series"---but that was just a cover-up----The Diamondbacks will be coming out aggresive tonight----Brenly does not want this game to come down to a battle of the bullpens again!!! Mussina and the great yankee scouting report know this---and they will pitch accordingly!! Mussina--an excellent control pitcher main-focus will be to keep Womack off the bases--trying to avoid 2 and 3 run homers!!! Mussina--one of the smartest pitchers in the game!!!-has been scouting this whole series---Trust me!! he knows what these hitters can do and what they can not do!!! The question is can he make good pitches??? I believe with-out a doubt he can!! I said it before and I will say it again---Mike Mussina is one of the best around!!! He has excellent control---know what he wants to do--has great stuff--and he can get the big strike-out when needed!!! He is second in the Al. in strike-outs this year behind Nomo!!! The guy had over 2o0 strike-outs/ Arizona will be aggressive--and this is the wrong approach--Mussina can put the ball anywhere--Look to see Arizona chase many pitches tonight--Mussina may get 10 K's---I did consider that if Arizona gets down--Brenly might put in someone miserable out of the bull-pen to try and save there only decent bull-pen pitchers, but who know how Brenly is thinking?? With Johnson going in Game #6--We might see him bring Kim again--Morgan---his best since Johnson is going in #6----Final Thought----Great Defense---Mussina pitches great tonight!!! Prediction--Mussina throws 7 scoreless innings tonight... If the Yanks win--which i believe they will than that is 3 less at bats for the champs---And with Rivera going in the 9th and maybe see him in the 8th9--He is untouchable!~!!!! All yeah Batista--Yanks are still struggling at the plate--and Batista will step-up tonight---He just has to be care-ful to Jeter-Williams-- IF he gets through the first 2 he will do fine!!!
