The Winner's Circle
Let's try to nail a winner together!

I'm leaning towards the Yankees in this one. Clemens mentioned that he's anxious to put an end to the travel and hoopla associated with winning #300. Wood will be pitching against his childhood idol today. He could be a little nervous. On the flip side, opposing teams are batting .278 against Clemens this year with an on-base percentage of .313. I don't like those numbers at all! However, Sosa and the Cubs are really struggling at the plate right now. All opinions are welcome.

ROCKET RAJA

ROCKET RAJA

Clemens has been getting smacked early in his games. Plus Chicken-Sh*t Roger has to bat at Wrigley. He doesn't head hunt in games he has to come to the plate. He ducks the inter-league games at Shea Stadium. Yankees skip over him in the rotation when it's at Shea Stadium.

Prior no pushover. And if Yanks are favored, Cubbies look tempting.

I was leaning towards the Yanks too.
But it seems everybory and his family love Yankees.
THAT SCARES ME A LOT!!!
I am waiting the price goes up (now is -140) and bet on Cubbies
before gametime.
Clemens will win his 300th, in NY.....................

Wood usually starts off good than struggles in the middle innings. I was leaning towards the yanks myself, but i dont know. Wood is due for a good outing and he does lead the NL in strikeouts. Tough pick but when it seems like everybody is on the yanks, ya might have to take the cubs. good luck

Can't understand why the long line to back the rocket in this one, ha anyone else seen how he has been pitching under pressure?

I know the cubbies have not been hitting the ball well but they won't have to with Wood on the hill, and I think against his idol he would want to pitch even better....

I am on the Cub +105 & the OVER 7.5

PS ...I am hearing that the Rocket is not feeling too well today has cold/flu symptoms...

"wood sucks"...funny guy...try watching him sometime.

I grabbed the under last night,
8.5 -130

Down to 7.5 all over, and still may not reach that.

I expect solid performances from both starters.
Iassogna behind HP doesn't hurt, either.

I'm taping this mother...should be a beauty.
