as a long time yankee fan.....it has always annoyed me that steinbrenner thinks that money buys chemistry..........it doesn't.
i have heard steinbrenner say that he follows american history.......well all he has to do is read up on his own baseball history when he made the same blunders in the 1980's, with free agents as he is making right now. he should also read about the california angels of years ago when they also thought that buying free agents would equate into championships.
if this team doesn't make the playoffs.....this will go down as one of the biggest blunders in sports history.
