A 16 day vacation starts tomorrow when I depart on the California Zephyr (Amtrak) from Mount Pleasant, Iowa to Emeryville/Berkeley, California. It will be a crazy 30 hours until then, on top of a crazy week already, and I've invested no due diligence in any wagers made this weekend, and I'll be relying on sticking very close to info/themes/angles I've been tracking OK so far this season, some very hectic scanning of some internet this and that, and hopefully some money management.
Iowa(-5) over Indiana (1*)
- - An Iowa team with a nice core is playing with passion, while being incredibly careless, and getting outcoached 3 or more weeks running. The arc of the season says they brought their lunchpails to work and stuck together this week to get a bad taste out of their mouths.
