Let me tell you how Pist I am right now. As of last Sunday I set the parental controls on my PC to block this site as a result of being a man of my word. Then I go to check on where to have dinner while in Omaha and the page is up on my iPhone safari. I see all your responses and I am really angry. I don't use the term respect in an attept to get a post in return or make someone feel better about themselve. I stand by it to where I advise friends and such on plays based on guys I respect.
The catch 22.... If I post I am doing what I want and not listening to BS BUT I am backing down from what I posted.
The reason.... My son.... He had a issue that was not something I want to post on a message board. It pushed me to the limit because of one F'ING person that said something with no knowledge or cause or care how it would rattle myself and my wife world. That lack of respect.... Not for me but for another person was something I told myself would be addressed wherever, to whoever and whenever I saw it. Granted this was on a smaller scale but never the less it struck the same cord. My son made me realize I was better than that to let one person control my emotions and those that posted struck the same cord when I started to read tonight.
Therefor I thank you but you all suck because I think so much of some of you I got me to think if I post to help then do it. However the "anyone that posts a goodbye message ain't leaving" made me think do I want to deal with fools acting the maggot but then again as some of you put it F$&@ Em.
Oregon (-22) over UCLA
Off a bye week where Oregon had to watch as folks said Oklahoma should be number one and Boise is the top in the BCS should motivate. They had the week to get back to healthy. The ducks have showed they have a surprisingly fast defense and with UCLA passing attack putting up 95 yards tue defense can key on the run. This is great... The defense can focus on stopping the run AND they have a sophomore QB that might start. Dint get to executed because prince is a gamer and may play. This is fine because UCLA has taken the Nevada offense and that means hits on prince and that means trouble for his right knee and less spear to deal with. The sophomore QB has playing time against wash st but at the duck pond will prove way too much for him. Let's take a statistical look, Oregon averages about 250 yards more per game than UCLA. They average about 140 more passing yards and 90 rushing yards. The ducks have a 32 point higher AVERAGE than UCLA. What's this mean? Well Oregon is very balanced and can run or throw and UCLA will struggle to defense either. The bruins offense is fairly one dimensional and only gets worse if price can't play. Even if the ducks can't stop them they are a better team by 30 points. Ps they play a lot better at home. Oregon has won seven of the last nine games in the series. They do have USC on the door step and this could be a look ahead spot. This is where I thank the bruins for beating Texas, that means the ducks have to take them seriously. At home the ducks have won by 72, 69 and 21. UCLA on the road has a big win against Texas BUT they lost to karate by 9 and cal hammered them by 28. Looking at this game on the level. Stanford beat them by 35 at UCLA and we all know if Oregon is better than Stanford. UCLA in their loses have given up over thirty per gam. That means the defense will be in trouble. Only question are the ducks playing UCLA or USC? The home crowd is the difference and they have way too much offense. They outscore UCLA 2-1 and sometimes 3-1. UCLA will have to pass and then they freeze on offense ala cal and Stanford. The bruins do not have the spear in the secondary to stop the ducks routes and the bruins do not run the pistol offense well enough to score with the ducks pace. At home the ducks try to make an example and Kelly knows that BIG wins are the key to the voters.
Thanks for the words fellas. Hats off to you classy posters. I raise a glass for you, it sucks to feel like I went back on what I stood up for but it is because you pulled out my chair. I will sit down with an appreciation for you that make this site valuable. I never want to back down but you all showed me what back up is and I will take this lesson as I did with my family issue.
Cheers
