he doesn't have near the mental toughness as kobe, michael, bird, or johnson.

unfortunately thats the trend with all the young players. NBA has had a steady decline over the last 10 years. You couldn't pay me to watch a regular season game.

at least now when they lose in the 2nd round you can't say he was tired.

lebron has all the talent to be up there with kobe and michael in skill, but you can't teach mental toughness and he doesn't have it. not many young players do.

watch that toronto/washington game yesterday. did you see all the washington players just laughing it off when that 3 went in. Players just don't care anymore. even the chittiest NBA contracts are enough for any of them for life. they just don't care.

I wasn't a Kobe fan initially, but dodger, your right, he's mentally tough as they come, fierce competitor. Pierce is tough also, Drs. have been telling him for a month he is risking permanent elbow damage, but he kept playing. I knew Pierce was out & played Cleveland pretty good, then get to a television & find king James is not playing for "fatigue". Team Dr. says no injury, James is just tired. Wtf

Not defending James, but the fact is he's carrying that shit team and shit organization. From what I understand, he is constantly catching all the criticism from the media there for the teams lack of improvement. I've said this before, If I were him I'd have asked out of that dump program the minute the trading deadline passed and they did nothing to improve the team. Look at that roster and you'll see a bunch of B teamers. Watched the game yesterday (had the dog +3) and tht Pavlokwhatever pukes a late shot and doesn't get fouled. They couldn't pass the ball to James for some reason even though they should have been able. He looked pissed and a beaten man before the OT even started. James could probably use a better agent.

BTW

Gordon still sucks hind tit.

fatigue?

fatigue?

going to the nba finals? that is a stretch to say the least. you can look in the "kings" eyes and tell his isn't a rocket scientist. an awesome physical talent without the brains to match. everytime i see him on the sidelines he's chewing his fingernails. you can't teach someone to have the eye of the tiger.

You'll see. Hey they shouldn't have won shit last year but James took about ten steps to put Wash out of it. The NBA has their hero's and they will stop at nothing to get this kid over the top. kinda like that quarterback in Indy who never could win when he was supposed to and then when he wasn't suppose to he won. Strange how this stuff works out.

sd, I fully agreed he is only 22, but Cleveland is positioning itself in the seedings, he has no injury, every player is tired. Boston was a easy victory for Cleveland, James averages 28 a night, and Cleveland lost by 2, I'm sure his older teammates like Marshall & Snow were tired also. Dr. said no injury, just fatigue, put on your sneakers & play.

for what it's worth (probably just a cover)....

CLEVELAND: (4/3) F Lebron James was treated for tendinitis in his right knee Monday, one day after sitting out Cleveland's loss to Boston, the Associated Press reports. James is a game-time decision for Tuesday night's game at Minnesota. He'll be re-evaluated following Tuesday's shootaround in Minneapolis.
