I'm trying to get why the Wendy's was burned down in Atlanta? Wendy's had nothing to do with the "protest". Its hard to sway me to your side when this shit happens.

The hoodlums who started the fire aren't trying to "sway" you. They're angry at what they see as black people being treated more harshly by police. They're trying to get your attention.

Would this man have been gunned down, three shots in the back to make sure he was dead, if he had been white?

He was doing what...running away from a DUI charge? Bang, bang, bang.

Would he be dead if he were white?

As long as we are assuming, I'll assume the white guy would comply with the arrest, rather than try to take weapons from the officers.

I'll also assume a gang of whites wouldn't burn down Popeyes.

Is that the local chapter of the WLM movement?

I don't know what WLM is.

The Pictures are the work of the Ku Klux Klan, or the Sons of the Confederacy, or maybe just some good ole boys having a little harmless fun, or an Ole Miss Wiener Roast, or a Koon Kooking.

Not quite sure about a group of whites burning down a Popeyes. But, they sure didn't have problems destroying a self-sufficient thriving black community. I know, they don't teach this stuff in American history classes. But, perhaps they should.

Peace! :)

Tulsa Race Massacre

During the Tulsa Race Massacre (also known as the Tulsa Race Riot), which occurred over 18 hours on May 31-June 1, 1921, a white mob attacked residents, homes and businesses in the predominantly black Greenwood neighborhood of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event remains one of the worst incidents of racial violence in U.S. history, and one of the least-known: News reports were largely squelched, despite the fact that hundreds of people were killed and thousands left homeless.

Or did you want a more recent example?

The day police bombed a city street: can scars of 1985 Move atrocity be healed?

Eleven people, including five children, died and a Philadelphia neighborhood burned down in the airstrike against a black liberation group. Now an effort at reconciliation is under way

And if you're not an ally after all this time, it's highly unlikely that you'll ever change your mind. And I don't think that they would really be asking for your support. Just sayin'....

Peace! :)

the post isn't laughable..

it wasn't right to be oppressed and tortured then and it isn't now.

300 years ago ...100 years ago ...today...

When you yell and shout that something is wrong and you get no response to solve the issues.

Well.....maybe a Wendy's will get the attention...

White America is still saying you are not equal.

Until White America comes to understand it that it will never change.

Can't keep shooting folks and think it's ok and coming up with excuses.

This is disgusting. Your really trying to defend that idiot at Wendy?s? What the fuck

The fucking guy punched the police officer.... took his taser... ran away... and then turned around and tried to use the taser on the officer.... holy fuck

This is sad.

This is why nothing will change. Too many people think it?s okay to run wild in the street without any consequences.....

Your really defending this guy?

Zero respect for you

I'm trying to get why the Wendy's was burned down in Atlanta?

The question is why and I gave my opinion why.

No where is the post did I say I thought it was the correct way to protest.

a man passed out drunk in a fast food line and ended up dead w/2 slugs in his back.

Serve and Protect didn't do his job correctly....

Resistance alone is not enough for the use of lethal force.

and the cop pulling the taser was excessive force to begin with.

The cop was either not trained properly and or part of the bigger picture PROBLEM.

The average citizen who is drunk is supposed to do everything 100% right and comply but the
officer who is supposed to be trained and paid for response can react however he wants.

If the officer considered the taser in the hands of the drunk guy lethal and a reasonable chance of loss of life then the person being arrested has the same right to feel that way and react.

The drunk said he wanted to walk to his sister's, two blocks away. It was obvious he could walk okay.

All the officer had to do was say - "okay, walk to your sister's. You can pick up your car keys at the station tomorrow."

Or they could have put him in his parked car to sleep it off and pick up the keys tomorrow.

Or the officer could have just let him run and taken the keys,

That way nobody, not the drunk, not the officers, not nearby civilians would have been injured.

Instead the jerk-off officer shot him in the back, twice, because he tried to fire a laser.*

*The laser is classified by all police department as a less than lethal weapon.

That officer doesn't want me on his jury. I have seen the evidence. He's guilty of manslaughter. Minimum sentence in Oklahoma four years.
