The drunk said he wanted to walk to his sister's, two blocks away. It was obvious he could walk okay.

All the officer had to do was say - "okay, walk to your sister's. You can pick up your car keys at the station tomorrow."

Or they could have put him in his parked car to sleep it off and pick up the keys tomorrow.

Or the officer could have just let him run and taken the keys,

That way nobody, not the drunk, not the officers, not nearby civilians would have been injured.

Instead the jerk-off officer shot him in the back, twice, because he tried to fire a laser.*

*The laser is classified by all police department as a less than lethal weapon.




That officer doesn't want me on his jury. I have seen the evidence. He's guilty of manslaughter. Minimum sentence in Oklahoma four years.

Update: Officer charged with murder. In Okielahoma, that's 45 years minimum, maybe execution.

We'll see what transpires. According to my new ex-officer friend who used to work with the Oklahoma PD, the union and the higher ups have great pull in that area. Not sure what his actual sentence will be.
