I think a strong-armed quarterback making confident reads is the best weapon for attacking the New England defense, and is also a critical component for Shanahan to deploy his weapons on offense. Some hurry up offense by either or both teams would not surprise tonight, and both coaches are known for going after a team to take them out of what they do best, but on the whole, I like the fact both coaches take pains to manage the tempo of a game to their liking . . . I don?t play a lot of totals, and prefer jumping on overs, but when I looked at all of this week?s games I didn?t see too many games that would get lit up like a pinball machine (I think unders were 9-4 yesterday), and for me, this game stood out the most . . . It?s been said that it?s only a must win game when a loss eliminates you from playoff contention, but in a ?must win? game for Denver, without that strong arm, I see two strong teams fighting over yards rather than points.
