locally, we had a few blatantly corrupt republicans get their asses handed to them yesterday, in very red areas. one, who's been there a while, lost by 50%. insane. musta been a rigged election. it's the only possible excuse. not that voters are finally realizing a lot of these guys are playing them for fools.
I love seeing red states vote for liberal policies. The country is continuing to move left on social policy and away from the religion based crap.
100%. the last time a republican candidate for president won the popular vote was 2004. (2016 and 2020 notwithstanding. shhhh... don't tell the magas how we actually all ARE part of a vast conspiracy.) this country absolutely leans left on most issues. hell, look at the abortion votes in ohio, kansas, etc. very red states believe abortion should be legal.
