Can anyone help me here.How can I PM people when the administrator has disabled my private messaging??:shrug:

Private messaging is disabled site-wide due to spamming. The best way is to send a message through reputation comments or to ask the Jack or IE for the person's email.

This is just a little perplexing. The only other site I visit is a golf oriented website in UK using same forum format yet I have never had one spam in privite messaging in over 11 years and 560 messages..

WHY?
current active users have to have 1 post.
the bots are registered but cannot post because they have to be activated 1st which we are not going to do so they will just show up as guests.
this will be all changing when we change the software after the superbowl...you will not even see them as guests then.

also, count yourself lucky with no spam...it has been there... the touts and fly-by-night sportsbooks etc. etc. type of biz is one of the most sneaky businesses going...

82% or so of them use gmail email addresses, but if we turn that email address off, alot of regular users would not be able to reg. either.
