1-0 on pod with tennessee yesterday. pick for today is fresno state -8 1/2. fresno's road record of 3-4 is not very impressive but those loses have come at some tough places to play. fresno is clearly superior to utep in talent, rebounding and shooting the ball better. fresno is 8-2 in conference and utep is 2-7. fresno has 1 1/2 game lead on nevada and i'm sure wants to keep it that way. in january, fresno spanked utep at home by 26. utep is also a poor home team with a 3-8 record. the wins were against powerhouses san jose st, tennessee st, and boise st. hate to give points on the road but fresno is at least a 15 point winner tonight.
