Why is it the fault of the cars and trucks on the road? Go somewhere OFF the fucking road. If I road a bike, I would go somewhere OFF the road and ride. A place where it's safe. It's dangerous riding on the roads. Period. I might be a dick, but Jesus, GTFO the road. Seriously. Same with joggers. Go to the High School track.

older guy was on a bike that you sit way down and lean back in

he was taking 3 ft of road, literally had to wait for a straight road area to pass him

and in Georgia they have given them bike rights so if you hit them and didnt give them enough space , they sue you

They hold up traffic. And they're mad and blaming the motorists? Gimme a break. The motorists have no choice but to take the roads and we're going somewhere. They are leisurely riding around and holding shit up and they can go somewhere else where it's safe.

I have the answer. Do the speed limit or get the fuck off the road.

I drive a stretch almost daily that's about 8 miles long and the speed limit is 40. It's one of those roads where you think it should be higher speed limit and if you are going the limit there's always an asshole right on your ass. You learn your lesson the day you get the $250 fine for speeding.

Anyway, these bikers are going 15MPH-20MPH and they are fucking up the whole flow of things. It's a busy road! AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY OWN IT. Do the speed limit or go!

Okay, I'll calm down now.

Cyclists do not belong on the road. Period.

If they were in their cars instead of on bikes, you'd complain about too many cars on the road, nowhere to park, etc etc.. You guys are just assholes. :mj07:

On the course!
I just finished golfing, and stopped to grab a burger. While waiting for my grub, a guy on a bike was "walking" his Doberman. He was riding in the road, and the dog had the leash stretched SIX FEET into traffic! Cars were honking as they went into the other side of the street to get around him. He's probably home right now typing about what asshole drivers are!

:mj07:

Here's the thing:

Roads were built for motor vehicles. Somewhere along the line, a few bikers pitched a bitch, and now they have "rights". Well, good for them. You can die in the right!

th

You see "the gutter"? That concrete slab about 18" wide on the edge of the road that has the storm sewer grates?

THAT is where we kept our bikes as kids!

You didn't pedal your shit out in traffic like you belonged there!

Share the road, Jack.

I have far more patience driving for runners than I do for cyclists though bc I hate riding bikes, and I like to run. When running, self-preservation is always on my mind if I'm using a roadway. I have been bumped a few times and almost hit many other times. People don't pay attention, and they don't care.

I think cyclists and runners have the right to be on the road, but I also think they should be considerate enough to not block traffic (pull over to the side every mile or so) and not be cocky little punks.

If you can do the speed limit then FINE! Otherwise, don't complain if you get hit.

These people in the video are blaming the motorists. GTFO the road.
