Your Thoughts on this Prop

I was thinking of putting a good sum on this prop:

Adam Vinatieri OVER 7.5 points (-130)

The games I have seen the Eagles play, it seems like they give up chunks of yards but hold teams out of the endzone (in some cases). I think if Adam can kick two (or three) fieldgoals and the Patriots can score two touchdowns - this can be a winner.

What do you guys think? Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

As Always - Good Luck To All!

I really like this prop. Just look back and see how often the Pats kick a FG with their first possession. Belichick really likes to get ahead in a game, and will often play for a FG early to get that lead.

So, that would be an early three points. Add to this the fact that he is such a big-game kicker and is unlikely to actually miss anything, and I like this bet, even at -130.

IMHO the Pats offense will be too good for Philly anyway, so they might score a lot.

Great prop, I'll be looking for that and having alrage one on it. The Patriots offense can defintley rack up 2TD's and 2FG's and at the least 3FG's. :mj14: Lets go Patriots!!!

I looked at this one myself and have it on my long list, but haven't played it yet. I am never in love with laying the -130. I've seen 8.5's also at Infinity, I think at +110 or +115 and will give that a good look, too. I certainly can't argue with it, V'tieri is a stud, can kick long & they don't hesitate to go to him.
I did play FG attempts at 4 (by both teams) at -110. Both kickers are fine. I know I need 5 to win, but really think I can get at least the 4 for a push, not the worst thing in the world.
GL with it,Ank.

Thanks Hitman and Soko for your thoughts because I'm thinking of making this my "Big Bet" for the Superbowl. In the past, I've chosen my big bet to be a side and I've had luck the last three Superbowls but this year I cannot pull the trigger on a team (for big money). I think that you might be better off to go over 7.5 then 8.5 even with the advantage of $0.40 on the dollar.

I've thought about it and this will be my bet. I think Adam cashes this ticket.

LIKE IT!!!

LIKE IT!!!

you can start at your own 1 and go 98 yards to the other 1 and you still wont get a TD against this D......but the Pats will get in at least twice for his 2 PATs (a brady toss and a dillon or faulk scamper)...........then all you need is 1 FG cuz youll know he'll win the game with one??? but hopefully not for my teams sake. David Akers will be a factor Sunday, mark those words.

GL with it, Ank. Sounds like it will be a major portion of your action.
If anyone can find a better price for the V'tieri points prop, please post it for us.

No chance, I cant even find 7.5 and I'm getting 8.5 with Akers at 7.5. I'm thinking Philly has no chance in the red zone and he has very good leg, might choose to pull the trigger on this but still not too sure.

Any thoughts on 3.5 fields goals over? 2 good D's can surely force 4 field goals and these teams can move the ball nicley with dink and dunks and both be kept out of the end zone.

Soko,
I saw other sites at 8.5 (Over was +110 or something) but I like that as well. Just thought since it was a big bet for me I would pay the higher juice and not get burned if it lands on 8.

I like over 3.5 field goals - I can easily see Vinaterri kick 3 himself and I agree that Philly may have a tough time in the red zone and Akers can knock them down. Good luck with all of your bets!

I'll be taking OVER 3.5 field goals as well. More and more I handicap it - seems like these D's tighten down in the red zone.

Good luck to All

Have fun!
