It looked like he hit the back of his head on the edge of the ice as he was going through it.. Lucky it wasnt a bit thicker.. Could of knocked himeself out and then he would of been history as well.. People don't understand how strong ice is, I mean if you go under and can't find the hole than you have to make one yourself.. 2 - 3 inches of ice is thick enough where you can't smash through it.. If you have hanging thick ice from your house then you know what I mean.. Can't break it by hand..
