zags-mich st

line was 2.5 zags, min jump to 3...30 min later...its mich st -1.5...

whats the most probably cause for this line move?
thoughts are welcomed...

zags starters played heavy minutes in a much more competitive game yesterday...mich state starters rested 2nd half...will that be a factor?

there seems to be an inordinate amount of line moves "across zero" so far this season. and half the time, they've been wrong. ostensibly, the gonzaga/mich state move is a 4 or 4.5 point move, but you can almost consider 1-0-1 "dead" numbers. it's very tough for the game to land on those numbers. if it was a move from 3 out to 7 or 7.5, id give it more consideration. but there have been a lot of games this year where line has flip flopped and the team that went from dog to favorite has gotten blown out. it just seems like the books are having a hard time establishing a favorite in these pick'em type games early on.

yes I agree about the "dead #'s" gman....but sometimes I tend to think they switch up the favs on these close games to sway the action to the side they want it on...
I would lean Zags only because of the play of Morrison, but I would not be surprised to see Mich st pull it out either...

Then again at the half of that game.
Then again before the Chaminade game.
