Among Libtards!!

Do you think that early in the game, (the Seattle TD called back), that officials could be tense, nervous, excited, because of the atmosphere and hype, that they try too hard.

Just a thought that came to mind. I'll bet the pressure of not missing a call , and all the hype of a SUPERBOWL, gives a ref butterflies for a minute or two.

Not saying this was the case today, but could this be a possibility in a BIG event like this ???

could be DD, but I don't think so.....these zebras were bad throughout the playoffs.....they were just exceptionally bad tonight. This league has to decide when they are going to allow players to decide games otherwise I truly think games like this are going to turn a lot of people off of the NFL. Bad officiating is becoming all too normal in this league.....marginal PI on a seattle TD.....marginal hold on a seattle play down to the 2 yard line........hasselback tackles a guy and they call him for an illegal block giving Pitt excellent field position to set up the Randle El TD pass. I don't think anybody expects perfection, but at some point in a game involving guys this big, fast, and stong, you must allow a certain amount of "grey" area in the game......call the obvious and let the players play. The way it is now, there is way to much face time for the boys in stripes.

I think all the pitt homers should start their own thread if they want to jerk each other off and think they were the better team. I don't know which game was the worst this year, Michigan-Nebraska, Florida-Iowa, or the super bowl. Pretty weak sauce as far as officiating goes.

I'm sure you had to see the replay though. On the onside the iowa player was onside by more than a yard. How could that official miss someone who is onside by more than 3 feet? I wish their was some kind of recourse for blatantly bad calls. Players get fines, why not refs.
