zoysia grass

does anyone have experience with this zoysia grass. i'm in nj. is it hard to work with,does it grow as they advertise,is it worth the money?

just familiar with it on golf courses. WOuldn't recommend it for your yard. Also, I could be mistaken, but I think that grass needs a milder climate than New Jersey.

It should grow anywhere south of interstate 70. You would need to buy it from a sod farm. The crap they advertise in magazines is worthhless. It will only grow in full sun. It will not even live under trees. Meyer is a very good variety. After a few years it will need to be dethatched. Not a lot of work unless your yard is very large. I will be glad to answer any of your quesrions.
