I may very well retire from sport's gambling on professional sports tonight. I just witnessed the most BOGUS display I have EVER witnessed. I apologize in advance because I know I will offend you if you had the Colt's, but let me tell you my friend,if you did you will lose more of these than you will ever win. So please don't insult anyone with an explanation other than obvious pointshaving. This is disgraceful. I am at a loss for word's at the comment's being made in other thread's. I honestly can't believe a grown man could believe that what just happened was authentic.

I may change my mind tomorrow,or next week, I pray I have enough intellegence that the good Lord gve me to walk away from this.Good Luck and God Bless,YOU ARE GONNA NEED IT

YEAR TO DATE RECORD 25-14 + 34.1

I'm kinda glad it happened. I'm done with the NFL!

Going to Vegas Sunday and may just take in a show or 2. Worst beat ever.

If I touch the dice, I see alot of "7-outs"

Again, sorry about the premature kudos MJB.

I'm sick.

Gotta get up in 4 hours. I feel for my co-workers.

Point Shaving?

How could a conversation about point shaving go on without a mention of the Philadelphia Eagles and their 'performance' this week.

Tampa's defense allows 0 points in the first half, and all of the sudden the loss of one half ass CB leads to 38 points.

I thought the Eagles were pathetic, but the Bucs were just unbelievable.

Bird-

I feel for you losing this one. I wouldn't be able to sleep if I lost on it. One of the worst beats ever.

That said, i don't think it was point-shaving. If it were, it would've required a lot of teamwork by players and coaches and secrecy. What would any of them have to gain?

Believe it or not, as bitter as I am about this game, I don't think it was fixed.

The fixed games are not even close, and they require a lot of money on one side or the other.

I'll give credit where credit is due, and although it may look extremely fishy, and although the ref pulled some half-ass rule out of the book (which I'm sure could be called on most field goal blocks) I think the Colts just gutted this one out.

That was the most unbelieveable game I have ever watched in the NFL ever!

There is no words to describe that.

four tds in the fourth quarter ? personal fouls, flags. etc.

Something stinks here.

I am in shock over this loss.

It goes alot deeper than that... I heard on a talk show that Vegas was losing money with the public this year. Which could very well be true, but tonight I really thought the under was the play, even though I didn't post it. I'm sure it was a huge public play. As well as the TB Side play, ML was -195. I was on the ML and got smoked!! So, tonight was a grand stage to show the world that Money still talks, and bullshit walks...

No one let's you score 28 pts in a quarter, NO ONE!!!!!

And to make things worse, they did it to the #1 D in the NFL!!!

I wonder how all the offshores are going to feel when everyone starts taking what's left of their money out, bc that's what I'm doing..

GL to you guys, I wish you all the best. These books have taken my last dollar!!!

pure bs. i am a huge raiders fan. was the bears game fixed ? no. the raiders refused to score td's. fg cost them the game. how can you claim a game is fixed when your team is up by 3 td ? john gruden is conservative to a fault. do not blame refs when your team blows a 21 pt lead. dungy would still be in tb if he would have found a different qb than shaun king. anyway i am sincerely sorry for you guys who hammered the bucs. losing big $$ sucks. however, do not blame the refs when your team blows a huge lead.:nono:

In all do respect gentlemen, I think the key was the Barber return for a touchdown that put them up 21 with just a few minute's to go. I don't think the call's (or no call's) would have been so obvious if that had not happened. Once it did. It got ridiculaus. It had to. 21 point's in the last 4 min? Look at the penaltie's and WIDE OPEN POST ROUTE'S vs. the best secondary in the NFL. It cannot happen gentlemen. 2 personal foul's , extra 2 min. warning, the leverage penalty on the field goal was ludicrus. Anyway, what's the point,of argueing, if you won your gonna see it as real. I stick by my earlier comment's, there are so many people here I respect, and I give prop's when prop's are due, just read my baseball comment's tonight when I lost that game. I posted that hours before this happened. It's not sour grape's, I'm smarter than this, I hope you can be.Good luck my friend's.

Once again, I'll say this. The games that are fixed are not even close.

Think about it, if you were to fix a game to screw people out of a ton of money, why would you mess around allow the other team to go up by 3 TD's before putting the fix in.

The games that are fixed are games that from the get go you know the team has no shot to cover.

For example: The Bills - Bengals this week. The total seemed a bit low at 40, everyone liked the over, and right from the kickoff you knew the no matter what game had no shot in hell to go over.

There have not been many fixed games this year, that is why the public is killing the books. You want to look at some fixed games? Just off the top of my head look at the game tapes of the GB - ATL wild card playoff game.

Hope you all read this close, because I think its the best point made about this game possibly being fixed. . . if it was fixed, the refs would not have waited till the last 4 minutes to get it going people! NO WAY IN HELL! Colts would have won this game from the beginning. Also remember the onside kick that the Colts recovered.

I think another thing to bear in mind is that Brian Kelly went out in the first half. They brought in the second string corner, and instead of putting barber on Harrison, they put they backup on him. How he could he not go off. Then after Harrison torched them, they rolled the coverage over there and Manning started going to the other receivers who were now all by themselves. Not to mention the Bucs D was dead tired and had gotten complacent.

Guy's please hear me.I did not make a single play ALL weekend long. Not one play in College or NFL. If you notice my record both this year and since I've been here, I've been very consistant. I don't play alot of play's and have had sucess in gambling for year's. There were some questionable game's yesterday ie Philly/Wash game as an example. But guy's this game was BOGUS. As I said earlier, I don't think it would have been as obvious until Barber returned the interception to put them up 21. As you all saw that's when it got crazy. WHY? Why all the sudden did the official's and strange thing's start to happen at that point? Men you can control a game , the game clock, and the outcome VERY easily with the right call's at the right time. We saw that tonight. As I said if you play with fire you will get burned. You will get torched if you keep f'ing with these professional sport's. You say there is to much money involved for it to be fixed? I think there is now too much money involved for it NOT too be fixed. Sorry as I don't want to offend gentlemen, but C'mon, that was just too obvious.

"the bunker"
guys

guys

i was sitting back watching all these posts.....and this was obviously a horribly bad beat....and many guys are absolutely distraught....and rightly so....

if somebody wants to bitch some about a bad beat, what good does it do to come in his thread and debate him on whether the game was fixed or not.....

we`ve all been there....multiple times.....not helping matters by pissing on somebody after the mother of all bad beats.....and i understand the intention is not to be cruel.....but,it doesn`t make the losers feel any better...

i have to say that last call on the field goal baffled me....in a game like this, the way it played out,it obviously wasn`t leverage....but to call "leaping" because the guy fell into someone in front of him after trying to legitimately block the kick?....could be called on practially every field goal attempt....very bad timing to decide such a game on a technicality that almost never gets called...

mjb....you`ll feel better in the morning...i hope you are able to sleep.....my condolences....

don`t take your "chubbs" and quit....hang in there...

what a weird frickin` game....whew.....
