yes i did he was part of the starwoods chain before gvr, very nice guy IMO and when planet hollywood and starwoods took over aladdin which was complete on wen, the planet hollywood, made him a great offer, the new plant hollywood will have the best shows on the strip and a new front that opens right out to the strip, planet hollywood is spending 50 million to redo the whole front and fix that messed up casino floor, as well as 3 top knotch night clubs and major concerts every week, going to redo the preforming arts center and make it into a 10,500 seat arena and they will bring in top concerts and shows and also will be in with the big 3 in the fight game, which is now mandalay bay, mgm and ceasers, now planet hollywood will seat the same more then 2 of the big 3 and will be in the round , lot of money being spent all will be complete by 2006.
green valley ranch is upscale and easy to get to from strip right off of i-215 in green valley. room rates might be cheaper on strip or will be unless you take the discount through the sports book who had major ties to get this place at that price, with out them it was about 450 per person to pay for it they were the 2nd place a bid was put out, so it was trashed right away could not afford that price but I will tell you the 215 is a very unreal price this is one of the top resorts in vegas , many many starts are there all the time from sports to movie to singing stars, it ranks up with the palms on the a list of people who go and stay there you will see many in the wiskey bar at anytime, shaq is there lot of the time, bono, jorden, michael jackson owns a privite cabanna there so don't bring your kids
but they cater to the A list of rich out of town guest, this is a chance of a lifetime and was only able to be done thanks to a book who's owner lives or has a place out here will let jack say thanks to him or both of them, they really came through in the clutch for this party.
this is a place that treats everyone there like a person who they care about, please remember it is upscale so dress is required at lot of the restruants and clubs.
If they get you a deal on rooms would not count on it but if they do it is a very nice place to stay and takes 10 mins maybe 15 if 215 is busy tops to get to strip i make it under 10, the time to get to the strip is about 6-7 mins then the strip traffic takes another 8-10 mins depending on where you are at to get to where you want to go. you can catch 215 off of trop or flamingo so if you go that way very fast , only traffic is on the strip.
a great job by 2 great owners of a great book who helped out more then anyone would ever know, we had the orleans and it was about 190 per person was going to try and find a way too knock off 40 bucks perperson but it would of been hard and the orleans is nothing compaired to green valley ranch. like i said they cater to the A group of out of town guest who they have a major client base of stars who are there all the time. You won't be upset with this place.
