Hmm, I think it was Mudlick, Kentucky. He's really a nice guy. See him several times a year around town. Very personable.

Lost in Texas
I don't know if this one counts. This girl grew up a couple of streets over from where I grew up. I met her a couple of times and saw her around school. I thought she was cute but I had no idea this was going to be the end result. :cursin:

On the course!
My dad lived next to Otto Graham down in Florida.

I guess Cory Raymer of the NFL is about the most famous person from my town. (Unless Jonathan Brandmeier is still on the radio in Chicago)

Fred Smerlas graduated from the HS I went too. This is something I am not very proud of, I know any locals who listen to the Big Show know what I'm talking about.

The Boss Bruce didn't live too far from where I grew up. And of course who can forget Bon Jovi and Jay and Silent Bob.

Henderson, KY

Sam Ball -- Baltimore Colts -- went to Pro Bowl (I think he went twice)
W.C. Handy -- father of the Blues -- his wife was from my hometown, so he lived here for many of his best years
The 50+ year old woman that just gave birth to twins was born in Henderson
Adm. Husband Kimmel -- the person in charge when Pearl Harbor was attacked
John James Audubon -- not born here but settled here when he started his family. Most notable for painting wildlife (mainly birds). His artwork is considered priceless to some.
Grandpa Jones -- Hee-Haw
Al Capone used to frequent Henderson (he referred to it as Little Chicago) because of the underground gambling scene. Club Trocadero was a pretty famous joint back in the day. It was torn down about 10 years ago and a gas station is in its place now.

Grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Knew a girl named Sandy King real well. I knew her sister too and she was a skinny little twig who loved drugs when I knew her. Then she grew up. This is her sister....
