Derek, I realize that in your mind, you are making great points. You're not even making sense in your last post.

Ranked teams that Notre Dame beat in each season:
(end of year ap poll)
2002 = #9 Michigan, #13 Maryland, #19 Pitt, #21 Florida St.
(current ap poll)
2005 = #20 Michigan

Now I'm not going to debate this any further. Although I'm sure you'll come back with something clever like "Since when does how many wins versus ranked teams make you a good team?" or "All those teams were OVER-RATED" but do you see where you are starting to look a little foolish.

Keep in mind I never said 2002 Notre Dame was better than the 2005 team, just that the 2002 team played a tougher schedule, and I think I proved that over and over again.

I have already wasted enough time on this, and this thread is crap now thanks to your worthless posts.

I will ask you ONE LAST TIME: you have proved ND's schedule was harder in 2002, the SOS rankings prove that, nobody needs to read your nonsense. WHAT IS YOUR POINT???

What is your point about this year's game? Thats all anyone cares about, and you DONT HAVE ONE!

Look back through this thread! Has anyone posted and said, "nice info, good stuff, thanks" or anything like that? NO, because NOBODY CARES! Everyone who uses this site, besides you, is smart enough to realize that your post was just anti-ND propaganda. When you cut on a popular team, people are going to react. Deal with it.

Does that make sense? You are debating a team's schedule from 3 years ago to prove what? That you think ND will cover +4? There are plenty of ways to convey that point without talking about
A.)ND's bowl history
B.)their 2002 schedule
C.)Maryland being 11-3 in 2002

My point is that NONE of that has an effect on this years game. You said it does, but it doesnt

who cares if they lost 34 straight bowl games?

They have a new coach.
They have different players.
It is 2005, not 2002, or 1985, or 1232 or whatever other year you are stuck in

They're due? Do you think Brady Quinn and Charlie Weis give a SHIT who won and lost bowl games 12 years ago dude? They dont, and neither does anyone on this forum.

Obviously you care.

If Steve2881 says they lick chode, I am in no position to argue with him. Notre Dame is no longer a play for me and I hope OSU makes it 8 in a row!!!

you're right guys, trends don't mean anything when it comes to gambling :rolleyes:

Nope not when it comes to bowl games. All single independent events COMPLETELY seperate from each other. Especially an OBVIOUS trend like ND losing 7 straight bowl games. You dont think that is already IMPLICIT in the spread? Call the LVSC and tell them ND lost 7 straight....like they dont already know that and adjust the spread accordingly.....you fool

Somebody must show the fool his folly.

I am an ND fan, but I wont lose any sleep if they dont win the game. Last year I won 250 when OSU beat them in the Insight bowl.

Maybe they win, maybe they lose by 68 points. Either way, it will happen because of this year's players and staff, not the games that were played 12 years ago.

If you're so confident they're gonna lose, why not just wait till after the game, then start a thread about how they got smashed and didnt deserve to go? Because you are SCARED they will win, so you gotta talk crap now BEFORE the game, because you know you probably wont get the chance after.

Everybody knows you're bitter because AUBURN got the shaft. Too bad even GEORGIA gets to go, after Auburn beat them on that FLUKE play. Thats right, Georgia gets a shot in the sugar bowl with 2 LOSSES, and AUBURN went there UNDEFEATED last year. Shows what the powers think of shitty Auburn. GEt a career

You have nothing left to say about the game. That means I've proved my point. Thanks for playing. Better luck next time.

The only exception is when the SEC champ gets moved to the national championship game in the current BCS system.

Which they could have done last year, but they didnt because nobody wanted to see AUBURN play USC. They'd rather see Oklahoma get bloooooooooooooown away than see Auburn in a title game. You're NEVER gonna get a national title under the BCS. hahaha :s4:
