You give aid and comfort to the chickenhawks when you attack John Kerry. I say we stay the course on Massachussetts liberals.

If it was a bad joke why doesnt the idiot simply save some face and apologize?

As for Olberman....good lord do people really watch him? Upon what should anyone have any reason to care what he thinks about anything?

Come on Kosar.............

Come on Kosar.............

Yeah,

Hammer is another 'prize.'

At least in his last 4 or so posts he hasn't called for the extermination of Jews.

I should be extremely angry with u.....but i'm holding true to my promise of no name calling and personal attacks....................i'm not even going to ask u for an apology..until u fail to show this forum where i ever said any thing remotely resembling what u stated.

Are you f*cking kidding me? Seriously. An apology? :mj07:

You have been a clear anti-semite since you've 'graced' us with our presence.

No, i'm not Jewish, but EVERYBODY who has read your 'body' of posts, knows exactly what you're about.

What did Kerry say that was wrong? Stay in school or you got a good chance of going to Iraq. What is wrong with that? I don't think many of the 100,000 new troops they are asking for are coming out of Phillips Acadamy.

His comment can be taken several ways. just depends on who's listening. but once again it is a typical democrat sticking his foot in the parties mouth when all they have to do is shut up and roll come elections. Instead lets give the Repubs some ammo. But as we have seen in the past they will blow it again when it comes time.

By the way fellas I am outta here again. Heading back to the big desert in the arab nation of Iraq. I head out saturday and should be tasting sand by Nov 14th. Going to help the military as a civilian this time. My phone has rang off the hook since I got back home and they kept raising the stakes. So I am gonna go and see whats up again. In all honesty I miss the place. Seems strange I would say something like that but none will undertsand unless you have been there. Plus if I can help save some lives then it will all be worth it. So goin for a year this time then probably gonna keep goin back as often as I can, then retire. Shootn for 45 and done workin forever lol. Only time will tell. Will keep in touch via the web overseas. Thanks for all the support last time it meant alot. Cya all.

Marine Thanks for saving me search on that issue.

Sponge per your--"a dead-end job like the military"

How many adds like this have you found in job opportunities--

free room and board--100% medical benefits--training--and full retirement benefits after 20 years regardless of age--

If I had one thing to do over I would have stayed in military and retired at 39 then started my business-

DTB you got that right. As well as things worked out for me with ASD. I still Wonder how things might have worked for me staying in. Heck I was just 17 & 9 months old. I tried to lie two months earlier and sign up but got caught. They sad bring your Father back to sign for you. It took two months to convince him to give in. Just think after 25/30 years I would have had a nice pension and still not been 50.

seriously(for a second)......neverteaseit is obviously a smart fella`.......iraq is obviously a very dangerous place for our troops and/or civilians....(or certainly baghdad is).....

wtf is up with the reelistment rates?..from seeing the figures, you obviously aren`t alone...from your post, the money is a factor......but,why put your life in jeopardy for a "lost cause"?......

i`m not getting political....i`m just curious....you`d think, from watching the news and reading the papers that guys would be crawling over broken glass to get the hell out of there....no amount of money would be enough to leave family and friends....again..and again.......

if your prospects here in the states aren`t so hot...if you can`t find work, that`s nothing to be ashamed of....sorry to hear that...maybe what i heard richard belzer say on a rerun of bill maher`s show(that only 20 year olds that can`t get work end up in iraq) has some merit........i know that had some merit back in the viet nam era.....

but,i didn`t think that was you...

or,are you being brainwashed?(you obviously wouldn`t realize it if you were)....if the effort is obviously being botched by the president and the administration....the generals in the field...everything is a shambles...it`s a full-scale civil war...

why waste your time?....why waste your life?...according to spytheweb,you`re a tool...an ignoramus....

teaseit, can you explain?.....what`s the deal....why not just get on with your life?....

and btw...what can we do for you ?...anything you need before you go?.......some pistachio nuts?....imported.....the best you can get....

I am also curious about going back there. This is the kind of thing that can alter my perception of things, wondering why a person would willingly go back there. There are a couple of hints in your post, like they are making it too hard to say no...I'd imagine that means it will be lucrative for you in some way...and you speak of saving lives which can be a very powerful motivator for many. I'm not sure if you are at liberty to discuss any of that, but I sure would be interested to hear about it.

A sincere wish of safety and health to you in your endeavors over there. Godspeed.

Best of luck and please stay safe, neverteaseit.

I've heard that civilian contracts are very lucrative in Iraq, so I understand. Plus, you already know the lay of the land, so that helps.

I have other questions and comments, but i'm afraid that I can't convey the proper tone on this subject via the written word and I wouldn't want anything to be misunderstood.

Keep your head down and be sure to keep us up to date. And of course, like weasel said, just let us know if you need anything sent over there.

Take care and be safe.
