GUADALAJARA, Mexico - A federal court has cleared the way for TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman to be extradited to face charges in Mexico, but the decision can still be appealed.

Norma Jara, a spokeswoman for the second district court in Guadalajara, said Thursday the court rejected Chapman's injunction request, ruling there was no reason not to try him on charges he illegally arrested Max Factor makeup heir and convicted rapist Andrew Luster in 2003.

"We only just heard about the Mexican court's decision to continue with the extradition proceedings, and are still in shock," Chapman and his wife, Beth, said in a statement issued Thursday night in Honolulu.

"Our attorneys have not even been formally informed of the court's decision, as of yet. We are obviously deeply disappointed and fearful of what will happen, and are currently absorbing the news and discussing our options at this time."

Once Chapman has been formally notified of the decision, he has five days to file an appeal that could block his extradition.

Mexican authorities have already asked for Chapman's extradition from Hawaii.

Chapman's lawyers argue he would not be guaranteed a fair trial in Mexico.

The charges against the 53-year-old star of the A&E reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter" stem from his June 2003 capture of Luster in Puerto Vallarta. Luster had fled to Mexico to avoid trial, and his detention by Chapman led to his return to the U.S. and a 124-year prison term.

Luster's capture shot the Honolulu-based bounty hunter to fame and led to the TV series.

Chapman, who is now free on $300,000 bail, faces up to four years in a Mexican jail if convicted. But his Mexican lawyer, Jorge Huerta, doubts he would get the maximum. Huerta said illegal detention is a relatively minor crime in Mexico, and that if Chapman is convicted, he would likely only have to pay a fine of several hundred dollars.

There is this movie that i think should be a classic, A Bronx Tale

In the movie, a street kid growing up in a Italian neighborhood, is owed some money by some other kid. $20.

Well the kid keeps dodging the other for just $20.

Well the mafia kingpin tells him, you like this kid, if not then u got off easy, for $20 , you will never have to see this guy again, he will never ask u for money again or talk to u again.

So for $20 he is out of your life.

Same goes for this guy, he is now in Mexico, he is now Mexico's problem. do u think he will ever return to the US. Dont think so.

So as for the "Dog" i say dont bring the trash back in the US.

So Billy bad ass "dog" can now deal with the Mexicans, and i hope he gets what he deserves.

I guess i just dont like what he does or that fact that he makes money on TV for it. thats all.

"the bunker"
we have a major mexican drug dealer.....a major league scumbag.....that by all accounts, resists arrest, flees from the border patrol....

gets shot in the "side" of the buttock while flleeing(the "side" of the buttock...just maybe the guy whose 800 pounds of marijuana he lost was pissed?)...the agents shot at the guy....and from what i`ve read, ballistics doesn`t even match the bullet from the agent`s pistols......

the injury was severe enough to bring into question how he crossed back into mexico and lived....

somebody in mexico gets in touch with our justice dept....."we" send a prosecutor to mexico...they offer this scumbag immunity.....to fly him back to testify against OUR border patrol agents....

then, these guys patroling our borders get convicted and sentenced to TEN year sentences.....

TEN.....YEARS!!..

they were then tranferred from one prison to another.....and one of the guy`s was taken out of protective custody..and put in general population.......and was severely beaten by some mexican inmates.....and...the prison warden tried to cover it up....

now, this scumbag with the hole in the side of his ass has been caught again smuggling drugs across the border, but, from what i`ve read, this won`t be admissable upon appeal....

and he`s going to sue our government for millions!!!!

and theres actually another similar prosecution ongoing in a similar case......by the same prosecutor!.....

AND....from what i understand, the whitehouse has it`s hands in both cases....

this is very similar to the case of the poor sot that,in the process of defending his property near the border, injured a mexican illegal, and was sued by the bastard ....

and the illegal was given the man`s property as settlement!....

i`ve defended our current administration in the political forum....but,i`m losing my cool....

somebody down south must have some interesting pictures of se~nor bush.......

because this is insane...

Raymond sometimes you just crack me up. You write four sentence about dog. Three of them it looks like you want him to move next door to you and then the last one you slap him down.:mj07:

You ever see those boots he wears to prop him up a few inches? then he puffes his hair up another few. He is six five out on the streets but in the shower he is 5 ft 2.
