Been doing more research, seems like I should go pick this stuff up and see how it works... I hear its pricey ($40 or so), but ehhhh this sucks...

that stuff does work, but what will help you more is a higher dose of steroids. If it's not any better today, you really should go back to the doctor (especially before the weekend).
You should also be taking medicine for the itching/histamine reaction, something like Benadryl 25 mg every 4 hours if it doesn't make u too sleepy, and you can also take a claritin d every day as well. Hope u get to feeling better!
When did poison ivy become such a big deal? ..Or is it just worse for some than others? I don't remember having to take steroids or any kind of pills - just some topical cream and avoid scratching. It shouldn't require so much medication, should it?
