Use to get it bad when young--will tell you how I get rid of it and keep it from spreading but will warn I told DR about this method once and he frowned--however has always worked well for me and relief and spreading stopped immediately

I would take comb and scratch it till it was raw and oozed--then take rag with clorox on it and wipe area--would burn like fire but never iched again and area scabbed over same day--and that was end of it.

You might take small area and try it--works best when you 1st get it--

How in the world did this come up as something to rationally do to yourself.

One day you just said "I think I will comb over the stuff tills its a raw oozing pus factory & then throw some Clorox on it to get it all cleaned out. Hope it helps?"

yea no shit man, especially with the hockey injuries, I dont know what my deal is... I'll trade someone some pokerstars $$$ for a new body.

I actually liked having poison ivy, once I realized I was controlling it from spreading. Here's something that feels way better than scratching and prevents it from spreading...(and isn't completely psychotic like what DTB did)..

Place a really hot wash cloth on infected areas. It's like a self-scratching sensation - only way better AND your not spreading anything. The incredible feeling of that almost made having it worthwhile.

Haha well i've been running well 8 tabling cash games so I may have the $ to pull off that trade.... anyways... ive been doing the wash cloth thing, however I dont want to wash off the special cream I got for everything. The worst part of it is waking up each day with it somewhere else.... I now have some right below my eye and on my ear. I went to get a haircut today and apparently a bunch is on my scalp as well, sweeeeeetness. However the foot area which is by far the worst and was pussing and such is scabbing over and getting a ton better after 3 days thus far on the steroid and creame, so thats a good sign. Hopefully the wang will clear up fast as well since I've made it a point to in no way spread that around anymore.

lol... was that a joke or did you actually remember how I blew out my hamstring last year playing softball 1 week before training camp for hockey started... You should see me on the basepaths this year... I'll hit one off the wall in the gap and coast into 2nd... No way am I ever trying to stretch out an extra base, that ruined a whole year of my life. Guess it didnt help much that a doc told me it was a strain instead of a tear... :nono:

How I got idea: Its an old remedy for athetes feet-(diluted in water)-and thought it might work for poison ivy--the iching was driving me so crazy I thought I'd give it a try--does burn like hell for short time but believe it or not the burning was a relief from the itching.
