What is the deal with all these things I am reading lately? Ripping off players, etc.?

Can anyone fill me in, and if they are guilty why are they still a sponsor?

I know of one place that pulled them down. Will you do the same Jack? I'm asking for details here, not telling.

Thanks!

i'll look around and check it out. i haven't heard a thing except for a few problems a few weeks ago about checks that were not being accepted. i took care of about 10 of those. there's a thread in the sportsbook forum where a few were talking about it. i was thanked in that thread and in email for handling those. is that what you mean? everything seems fine now, i assume, since i haven't heard back from any of them.

I had MAJOR problems with them 5 or 6 years ago. Maybe things have changed maybe they haven't. They are a recreational book that hates winners, but I guess what book doesn't.

I would never in a million years use them, but to say I know anything about their current situation would be a lie. They are notorious for slow paying though and thats probably what you are hearing. It takes a long time to get paid from them. But I'm sure you do get paid. But again, that was the past. There are books out there that pay a lot quicker, and I'm sure that can't be disputed.

Again, maybe they are great now, but if you piss off a customer in the past, don't expect them to come running back.

i see what you mean, agent, and this is going to take me some time. i have already contacted sportsbook.com and sportsbetting.com and am waiting for a reply. i'll let you know what i find out.

the allegation is that some accounts (31 accounts?) had their money confiscated for betting correlated parlays for the last 6-8 weeks.

i'll find out everything, just give me time.

thanks for the heads up. maybe! :D

This wasn't about slow pays. This was specifically about stealing a couple hundred thousand straight from accounts, and something else about not paying parlays that hit?

The 2 'other' forums are in a big uproar. One kept them, the other took them down and used the ad money to pay members of their forum (so they say).

Then maybe you can make your post more specific.
Sportsbook.com apparently woke up one day to find that their software was allowing multiple players to place correlated parlay wagers and the players were hitting them on a regular basis. The book decided to take action and confiscate the winnings from these parlays, retroactive to September 1st. The confiscated amount is reportedly in the six figure range.

Very controversial situation in which players were making large bets on these correlated parlays that it does say in the rules that they're not to be made, however, the sportsbook software accepts the wagers..... Sounds like the players were taking a shot at the book- winning big for sometime, and the book shot back.

Thanks judge, I don't really care about the situation enough. I would never use their book after a personal experience 6 years ago. How anyone has six figures over there is laughable.

I just like giving agent a hard time.

THOSE ARE THE SAME TWO FORUMS THAT WOULDNT STAND UP TO LENNY ANS CASCADE SPORTSBOOK WHEN I WAS ROBBED OF 660 DOLLARS SO I WOULDNT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THAT BULLSHIT.BOTH OF THOSE FORUMS DIDNT HAVE THE BALLS TO TAKE A STAND WHEN CASCADE SPORTSBOOK BROKE A WRITTEN RULE ACCEPTING A BET 15 MINUTES AFTER A GAME STARTED THEN GRADING IT IN THERE FAVOR.THOSE ARE NOT SPORTS FORUMS THEY ARE CARNIVALS WITH ALL THE CLOWNS DOING NOTHING BUT TALKING OVER EACH OTHER.

IMAGINE A FORUM PROTECTING A CORRUPT SPORTSBOOK TO MAKE AN ADVERTISER HAPPY THIS IS WHAT THOSE OTHER TWO FORUMS DID TO ME.I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THOSE THIEVES IN MY OPINION THEY ARE WORSE THAN CASCADE SPORTSBOOK BECAUSE THEY PROTECTED THE RAT BASTARDS

Then maybe you can make your post more specific. Maybe you can learn how to include information. Maybe others aren't on planet jupitor in your brain dikwad.

If I knew the information Diknuts, I would not have started the thread!:00x33

And of course nobody else can keep up with my mind, I'm not suggesting they try.

I would never play with Sportsbook.com btw, just curious what was going on.

OK, I'll ask....

What's a correlated parlay?

At managerial discretion, correlated parlays will be voided or split into separate straight wagers with the parlay risk amount divided equally. Parlays on correlated events include: Multiple selections on the same team/player in the same event, multiple selections against the same team/player in the same event, or any other combination where one event directly affects further selections in the parlay. Players will never be given the benefit if there is any doubt regarding intentions of correlated parlays. No warnings will be given.

i'm still looking into the situation as a whole but sportsbetting.com remains as an advertiser as i type.

i have NEVER had a complaint about them in the 7+ years they have advertised here. never.

We have not been involved in this issue. If a SPORTSBETTING.COM customer has been affected, we will refund all customers affected who had voided bets. Let us know and we always get back to you. By the way, we are NOT OWNED BY Jazette. SPORTSBETTING.COM is an independent web site.
