On the course!
They could freeze your account, and take your money, too, for taking a shot at them.

I know I would.

Who would you call to get your money back? Mom and Dad?

Taking a shot at anyone is out and out cheap shit. If they did it to you, you would be pissed, and don't give me any of this, "They posted the line, crap."

I agree.

Its obviously a bad number and you place a max wager on it.

If i was SIA i would suspend your account and ban you from the site.

how is he dishonest?

i have entered a wrong bet before at a sportsbook and was told that it was my fault and i had to confirm the bet.

didnt argue because it was my fault, but when SIA posts a line to bet on, im sure they have to double check and confirm it.

I would give them the same bullshit theyd feed to you if you placed a bet by mistake.

I think he's laughing at the irony/ridiculousness of it. You guys are acting like they're a poor mom and pop organization that is struggling to make ends meet or something. I'm not saying anyone should take advantage of a bad line, but how can you possibly feel sorry for the book?

They made a mistake and somebody tried to exploit it. Big deal. They should expect that to happen. And what would happen if I screwed up and meant to bet on one side but ended up betting on the other. Do you think if I called them and told them that they would void my bet? If they didn't should I complain that they took advantage of a mistake I made? Maybe I'm an insensitive jerk but they're the ones posting the lines. They need to make sure it's correct before they post it.

I have placed a wager by mistake at some books before the game had started and the book allowed the wager to be deleted.

I guess I play at better books than SIA.

I have a problem with putting a max wager on a bad line. I cannot see how SIA will alow this wager to stick.

I agree. I'm sure the bet will be voided. Even if Syracuse ends up winning the game outright and the spread never even comes into play, the bet will be voided. How convenient for the book, huh? Personally, I don't see anything wrong with putting a bunch of money on a bad line. If they don't want people exploiting bad lines then they shouldn't post bad lines IMO.

I agree. When I first seen the thread title I thought it said 3.5, until I opened the thread and started reading.
