Glenn - gotcha. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Honestly I don't see anything sinisterly wrong with your opinion on the matter. Somet things just weren't clear from your earlier post. That's all.
From SIA's rules and regs:
Sports Interaction cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in respect of the announcing, publishing, or marking of prices, runners, times or results, despite every effort to ensure their accuracy. In the event that such an error occurs, Sports Interaction reserves the right to either void any affected bets or to correct the error and settle the affected bets at the correct odds at the time of acceptance or at the starting price for the event (where applicable).
Again, this is all about personal accountability, or the lack thereof, to me. Why should people NOT be held responsible for their actions? I don't think anyone will ever be able to convince me that they shouldn't.
You know what? I would for you. I would honor the bet. I would fund the account fully. Then, I would have the same nincompoop "lackey" make sure he/she screwed up, and deleted your account somehow. No record of it, nothing.
Then, when you called to bitch, I would tell you, "We don't fix our mistakes here, you should know that, sir. Have a nice day."
I went to foot locker the other day and they had a pair of nike shocks on the rack that had a 69.95 price in them with the name and everything written. when we went to ring them up the came up 110+. I said I thought they were on sale so the guy went and got the shoe and saw the tag. he said he had to give me that price and pulled the tag out to fix. was I wrong to take the advertised price? I think not!! Dont see much differnce. but knowing these books, that most end up screwing you some how since they arent sanctioned in the us, they canceled the bet both the +35 and 3.5. had it been a loser I am sure they would have honored the correct line and took your money. just my opinion
I guess all of you guys have received an extra dollar change when at the supermarket and stopped and gave it back or had food (chinese for example) delivered to your house and after the delivery person left you found an extra item in the bag and all you good samaritans called them up and returned the unordered item. I find that a little hard to believe, not that there are not good people in the world but let's not split hairs. If you go to the store and something is mispriced, that is the stores mistake but you are entitled to the displayed price otherwise it is false advertising. Unfortunately, the offshores don't have to abide but such regulations -- they in essence have you by the balls.
Thanks for reading and just my opinion

One season I played some baseball future wagers and one of them was who would hit more HRs for the season -- Bonds or Sosa. Well everyone and their Mom knew that Bonds was ailing and had the possibility of being out until June. So naturally I took Sosa. The day before the season began the cancelled the wager based on the fact that Bonds was not going to start the regular season on time. If you are not going to honor a wager why put it UP!! IF there is a game I want to wager and it is not on the board I can't bet it can I?? I can only wager on what they have on the board.
Now, I due think that he was a little greedy in putting a max bet on it, kind of like those kids who fixed a Pick 6 in horseracing but they made mujltiple tickets not just one and that is how they got caught, or a friend of mine who bet on a horse race after it finished because his book allowed it. He normally doesn't play horses, but when he does it is usually $20 win/place. Here he is doing $100 triples!!!! That is being a real dick.

I consider myself a very honest person. And I'm not someone who "looks for an angle" to screw someone else. Personally, I have never placed a bet on a "bad line" myself. All I was saying is that I really have no sympathy for the books. Why should you?
This isn't a matter of honesty for me, it's a matter of personal accountability, which is a completely foreign concept to most people these days. If you screw up, buck up and admit your mistake, and make it right. Period. If you need other people looking out for you and covering your ass all the time, maybe you shouldn't be in business.
And if you're a sportsbook and you have some dumbass working for you who is posting lines that are 31' points off, you should be more concerned with why that guy is in your employ, rather than individual bettors who try to take advantage of that line.
Just my .02.
Then dont play offshore if its so horrible.
Some of you people are unreal. Does anyone remember what is was like before there was offshore gambling? I do and it sucked. If you think it is so horrible take your money out and stop betting online.
This is all about being a honest person and not trying be a thief. If you are so jaded about betting offshore than STOP, you are an adult no one is forcing you to do this.
