What do you want 100% off? What's wrong with 50% off. I'll tell you what if you don't want the 50% off, just use the coupon and send me the $75.

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
Alright you two dough heads:mj07: , I will spell it out for you.

Bought the damn thing to take my wife out for anniversary dinner. Thought that ok, need to spend a minimum of $35 for the $25 certificate. For $2 bucks thats a great deal. But since its a nice place, checked the menu and entrees were 20-25, plus apps 5-10, plus dessert for here 5, and wine 25-45 I knew I was looking at 75-100 total. Did not realize that as the $25 certificate goes to $75, the minimum purchase went to $150.

If her and I have to hit $150 at this place, they better include two wheelchairs to get us the fvck outta there. And they better include the wine on this tab, or I will be there for a week eatin':mj02:

Agent,
Is your minimum $400 on your certificate? :0corn

Oh, and all you smart-asses can have all the fun you want with this cause I'm not really that pissed. :nutkick

to rub salt in the wound... most places don't let alcohol count towards your total purchase to meet the threshhold for these certs.

That was my take as well. A few decent places in my area, but for my lady and I to drop 150 in there, (which I assume alcohol does not count into the total as marine mentioned), we're walking out with leftovers for a week. Still not a bad deal if you can get a group together.

sadly, most people do want everthing free after they purchase these type of coupons.
i manage a restaurant that does $25 gift certificates for $12.50.
the purpose of us doing these was to get people to come in an spend more than the $25 they would be getting free. DIDNT WORK, and we will never do this promo again becuse:
4 ladies came in the other day, they were extremely demanding and needy. each wanted 2 straws (wtf), they each had 3 rolls and 3 servings of butter (6oz butter/person), and when it came time for dessert, they each chose not to get dessert because they would have each had to spend $1 more on top of their $25 certificate.
Instead, they split 2 desserts among them, so it would be free with the certificate, and left the remaining $6 ($1.50/person) as a tip for the server. that's a $6 on a $94 tab.

I had 115 within 30 miles, maybe an East coast bias??? Maybe time to move out of the mansion deep in the woods Jack...

Most of the restrictions are right on the side of the restaurant listing...

caveat emptor (didn't the freakin Brady Bunch teach you guys anything....??? :mj07: )
