anticpated preview of tonights speech--

Can project it to be summed up as follows--

Mr Hope will again have on his Dr Doom face.
Will lay all probs on some else and take responsibilty for nothing.

ie: Will continuely harp on Trillion $ deficit he took over from the past-but say nothing about doubling it in his 1st 30 days.

Will say nothing about his biggest increase spending in socialistic programs--will tell you how they are the prob and his intent to cut them.

Nothing will be his fault--not the fact that 3 largest drops in market have came after he won election-after they unvaled their banking plan (or lack thereof) after announcing stimulus plan--

--every major annoucement /decision he has put out has been seen negatively from financial world.
appears no one likes the change or sees the hope.

--but as his rhetoric will dictate--nothings his fault.

You will get the normal dose of projections void of facts--and plenty of "we will"-but no "we have"

When he's telling how future tax receipts will cut deficit--you might ask yourself what future tax receipts will be--

When he's speaking of cutting expenses on Medicare and Medicaid--you might consider his answer is adding more and bigger gov run Universal healthcare-sound feasible?

--I just hope he doesn't mention his little meeting with his energy secretary-Clinton and Gore yeterday--and what their intentions are--or you will see 500 drop in market tomorrow--buts its coming--and it will be the nail in the coffin-

Not saying that I agree with his moves so far but he did inherit this problem from Bush.

--believe this was let out of bag a little early--and by AP none the less,

When he's talking about cutting budget--you might consider this--as you scratch your head and say WTF :)

House Democrats propose $410B spending bill
House bill to keep govt. running totals $410 billion, features thousands of pet projects
David Espo, AP Special Correspondent
Tuesday February 24, 2009, 8:50 am EST
WASHINGTON (AP)
-- House Democrats unveiled a $410 billion spending bill on Monday to keep the government running through the end of the fiscal year, setting up the second political struggle over federal funds in less than a month with Republicans.

The measure includes thousands of earmarks, the pet projects favored by lawmakers but often criticized by the public in opinion polls. There was no official total of the bill's earmarks, which accounted for at least $3.8 billion.

The legislation, which includes an increase of roughly 8 percent over spending in the last fiscal year, is expected to clear the House later in the week.

Democrats defended the spending increases, saying they were needed to make up for cuts enacted in recent years or proposed a year ago by then-President George W. Bush in health, education, energy and other programs.

DUH Lets see if I follow--O will say tonight they will cut the budget but we have congress say they will(increase 8%) "to make up for tax cuts of last admin"-:SIB

--more?

how about this "aid"

WASHINGTON (Reuters) ? The United States plans to offer more than $900 million to help rebuild Gaza after Israel's invasion and to strengthen the Western-backed Palestinian Authority, U.S. officials said on Monday.

Hmm-- well at least they doing away with waste ;)

Washington sends $1 food stamp checks to 250,000
The Associated Press
OLYMPIA, Wash. The state of Washington sent out $1 checks to the 250,000 food stamp recipients in the state.

The director of the Community Services Division for the Department of Social and Health Services, Leo Ribas, says the checks mailed Feb. 17 trigger an additional $43 million in federal food benefits. They also connect recipients to an energy assistance program.

Yeah that's the kind of thing I used to always say too. It reaches a point when you just have to let him go though. If you love someone, set them free. God bless Dogs that Bark.

He stands in that very small group who chastised people after 9/11 saying Bush was only on the job 9 months so how could anyone have the onions to blame him. 9months>30 days=hypocrite

As for tonights speech

As for tonights speech

I think he will (should) get away from "the economy" talk for this one and remind everyone of what else is planned and what other directions are we going....we've heard about the economy enough already and if he holds a speech to fluff it(which he hasnt thus far so no need to start) he'll lose alot of people, to talk about the reality of the situation will be a further drag to hear that for an hour or so....getting into green energy and some other positive steps into the future....stem cell research possibilities would be refreshing. Whatever he says I bet he wont be tripping over words and bumbling to find sentence fragments to put together, gonna feel good to be able to listen to someone who speaks with confidence and intelligence:0corn
