believe I said "numerous times" dot.com bust "recession" was neither Bill nor Gw's fault--it was product of environment at time. Can you not remeber anything--apparently not as I see its been only a month since we had thread on what caused financial collapse--and as usual--you all disappeared and return with yada yada--would youlike me to bump that thread and give you 2nd chance.

--I didn't think so :)

--and while were on it--I don't to any contradictions to above--per facts on O speach--or data on chart
I'll give it day or so and add to the archives if no facts to the contrary ;)

Hey smart guy....check your stupid post. You said that you do not see Bush complaing about the recession he inhereted from Clinton. Then you go on and praise the Republican Congress under Clinton. So what is it? Did the Republican Congress cause the first Bush recession? Or was it Clinton who you faulted? Maybe you can't help talking out of both sides of your mouth I dunno.

You can claim that nobody causes recessions all you want. Bush caused this one with his stupid War in Iraq being a major force behind it. As for your mortgage theory I still maintain that not only was Bush for it in 2002, see video you never responded to, but the Republicans had SIX LONG LONG years where they did nothing to stop it.

Exactly right he didn't blame anyone for recession or 911--unlike Gumby--who continuely does his blame game--and for the 3rd time do you want me to bring back thread on where the blame lies--or will you swing off on another tangent --again

the guy has been in office for 30 days. 3000 days of bush/cheney is to much to recover from in 30 days.... The only thing I don't get about the opposition on the right is... where the fuck were they, when bush/cheney & all the ass holes that give lip service to free markets, less government, strong national defense, ( EXCEPT FOR 911 & BILLIONS WASTED & AMERICAN LIFE, MINDS AND BODIES WASTED ) brought America to it's knees ??? Where were you guys that talk about accountability and responsibility when it comes to NO JUSTICE FOR THE PEOPLE THAT ROBBED OUR COUNTRY.... THE LIKES OF YOU HAVE ZERO CREDIBILITY ! OBAMA MAY BE THE ANTI CHRIST... HE MAY BE THE DEVIL... THAT'S HOW BAD THE RIGHT IS... AMERICANS VOTED FOR THE DEVIL... WHY ???

Your probably right Smurph--especially using Gumby adjective--

It just drives me bonkers that folks can't see whats coming--

He comes out with fiscal responsibilty--then they unload budget with most social spending in history.

He came out yesterday with his 2 trillion in savings--and they are primarily tax increases--not savings.
Who can't see the blatant deception.

Let me see if I can find something I like about his plans to end on positive note.

I think taking cap off ssn payments is one of best ideas in long time--if they use the extra taxes to shore up ssn fund and not spend it on something else. I see no reason why high income earners should have cap on ssn taxes.

I can even go for his increase on families making over $250,000 tax rate increased to 39% if not for additional investment taxes levied with it--as it will curtail growth and investment from those that drive economy.

Was that better :)

Why don't you answer the video of Bush promoting home ownership in 2002 that I posted 3 or 4 times? How much has that Folly in Iraq cost? Are those numbers included in your figures? You are the perfect example of "Figures don't lie but liars figure" Now go off on your your own tangent since like all insurance men you can't seem to answer a question straight.:0corn I ask you again, Who caused the first Bush recession...was it Bush or was it the Republican Congress and their Contract on America!:violin:

Stevie if u remember that was the one huge platform Bush used during the 04 campaign. Remember his team use to say "Home ownership is at an all time high" I use to say that it is under every president because there are more people in the country every year and this is a bogus statement because any president could claim this. any except Obama who has inherited a complete disaster of a mess.
