Can Alabama jump Florida and Texas? Many voters considered bumping up 'Bama last week even though the Gators and Longhorns stomped Kentucky and UTEP, respectively. So with No. 1 and No. 2 both on byes and Alabama playing a vastly inferior Kentucky team, the Tide could scoot right into that top spot. The fact that Nick Saban's squad is playing the same team Florida faced last week will make it very simple to compare performances.:00hour :00hour
Remember, the Tide easily neutralized Arkansas' potent offense; that doesn't bode well for the Wildcats' much more meager unit. Meanwhile, the Tide continue to play consistently effective offense. Keep an eye on true freshman tailback Trent Richardson, who showed some spectacular tackle-breaking ability against the Hogs.

Please.... there was nothing wrong with his decision. Complain about the pass to the endzone on 4th down with 50 seconds left if you want. I was at the game and with less than 3 minutes to go and down 3 scores, Brooks decides to call back to back timeouts to stop the clock and trying to get the ball back. Saban decided to teach him a lesson. With UK out of timeouts, 'Bama got the first down and UK didn't get the ball back until there was less than a minute to go in the game. I thought it was a great call.

Honestly I was sweating that when the clock had 4 + minutes left.
I could see Kentucky getting the ball back and Alabama playing deep zone and the wager goes down in flames.
That was closer than I care to watch. Serveral times in the game when Kentucky could have covered it.
I am disappointed in the Alabama team Rolltide.
I think they played like ass in the first half . Does being on a away field have that affect on them ?
I have concerns about them in several areas with some big games coming up.
Stat of the game... 4. The Wildcats picked up a solid 301 yards on Bama, but four turnovers hurt Kentuckys cause. :scared
