Sad to hear. Take a break.. Everyone goes bust at one time or another.
When I take a break the first few days I still have the itch pretty bad.. After that its easy and gambling is an after thought. I actually enjoy the time off.
Use a little self dicipline to get you through the first few days.

just cut back on your wagers...why wager exorbitant amounts on crap like sports?....you can`t control the bounce of a ball or a ref`s ineptitude.....for 95%,it`s a losing proposition over a lifetime...
with an internet account,you can wager as little as a few bucks...you still have the thrill of the action....
....treat it as recreation...enjoy it...

If this is a sincere question, then stop gambling. Look at your children tonight when they are asleep, and decide whether or not they are important enough to you to tuck them in each and every night, protect, and take care of them as any good family man should do. Hit the gym, golf, play softball, volunteer, man the fuck up and take care of your family and knock this shit off! Helping others is always a great way to get out of bad habits. But God, if you are God fearing Doc!! I am all about family, that being said, and would do anything and everything to take care of them. I'm getting teary eyed, must be the holidays!
