If your betting online then you have already invested the money, and if your betting through a book, ask about a payment plan. This is entertainment for most of us in here. Look at sports betting the same as going to a casino. If you can not afford to lose a certain number then stay within that number and call it a year if you lose it. jeopardizing your families standard of living should be reason enough to quit and for this year, maybe you should stop all together. Cut back your own personal expenses to compensate for your loses till you save what you lost. Then maybe you will learn how to money manage your wagering in the future without it effecting your family. GL

Any of the services that people pay are making money from gambling... Shit, they have ZERO risk of losing.. They just have to answer the phone, and change the sentence, "Give me your money, and I guarantee nothing.." over and over with ZERO risk... And then there are those who bet daily and have no "real job".... They HAVE to be making money... Right??? How else can they make a living? I know they are out there... Straight up gamblers... Do nothing else... Those that ARE doing it, usually add income sooner or later by writing a book; selling their story; or just saving a % and now have enough to retire on. I will introduce you guys to someone someday.... I have seen a FEW people on here that MAKE MONEY EVERY YEAR EVERY SEASON for the PAST 5+ years... (depends on the sport obv) You guys know who's +money in a certain sport on here EVERY YEAR... Some post their units +/- some dont.... But I think there are a few out there.

I do believe you when you say that there are people that make a living doing this, but I am still blown away, though. You always hear of how the house always wins, which leads you to believe most people probably lose. But it seems like most people are winners on this site (you, FirstnGoal, Cie Grant, Thunder, Scott-Atlanta, Teemo, Senor Capper, Save It, RAYMOND, etc., etc., etc.). It blows my mind to think that THEORETICALLY, if EVERY gambler in the world were aware of this site, followed you guys plays to the tee and stopped playing their own picks, then all casino and online sportsbooks would be demolished within one season. Of all the people that view this site and claim to be in the hole, it surprises me that they would even consider playing their own picks when there are so many successful cappers here to follow....

It's hard to tell with some people because they use units instead of dollar amounts. But since alot of these posters are in the +++ year after year, if they were to up their $$ or units per game, then technically they could make a living doing it (although I would NOT recommend that). I've seen a poster who made over 40k in a season (I think it was UT Longhorn but I'm not 100% sure).

Yea, I do pretty well year after year, and yes there are ALWAYS people making money on this site EVERYDAY, But it isnt the same person EVERYDAY... WE ALL STREAK, it goes to money mgt of course..... For instance, look at my last few days: lost almost 2k on Sat (BLEW THE HELL UP) after losing 900 Friday evening before I put up a 500 bet on a game FRIDAYNight and got lucky. At -443, and the night I had FRIDAY, I should have stopped, right then and there for the week and played "on paper" til the streak switched... But I didnt... Gambler's arrogance, whatever. And then I blew up like a 1st yr gambling CHILD. Boom -2032.50!!! Nice Christmas BONUS... NOT! Thank goodness for Sunday's drinking at the bar! (fun bets with friends got out of hand and in my favor)...

Bad night for me, didnt get my hundred on the gspots before kickoff. Then bet the under second half because of the blowout rule, cash was lost before end of third quarter. Makers mark on the rocks is quite tasty though, on a sidenote!
